Why is this cat toy so expensive here? At the WMart it's $6 cheaper. Pity I can't drive.

I want to know the same thing. It's crazy expensive here, and it's gone up in price another .50 since the last time I looked. Our Rural King store has these fore $3.99. I bought it there, and have half a mind to go back and buy a few more to have on hand whenever this one dies. Not sure how long the chirp will last, but it's such a nice quiet chirp, not annoying, and my pomeranian loves it!

I pulled the tab out and the bird doesn't make any noise. What do I do next?

Make sure the tab is intact and didn't snap off in the device. If it appears to be intact, hold the bird by the tail and shake the heck out of the bird. It should start chirping. They're sometimes fickle to get started.

They used to be smaller; better size for my cat's mouth. Why did they make the new version bigger?
