Hilltop Honey - Blossom Honey - Tub - 3.17kg

On my second bucket. There are some reviews that say it can’t be real honey as it’s so cheap.I would like to point out a few things.Someone suggested that this was not pure because it has a sell by date on it and honey does not ever go offPlease BEFORE you make a comment, think about British LAW. All foodstuff must have a sell by or consume by date. All WATER in bottles has a sell by date. But water doesn’t go off either.Here in the uk it is ILLEGAL to make false claims about your product. As this company has a reputation to keep I doubt highly that they would blend ‘syrup’ as some have suggested with it. The description say pure honey so that is what you get.The next point is that if you have a look at the old labelled buckets they do actually say product of more than one country and blended honey. Hence why it is cheap.My last bucket of honey crystallised, honey does this , as far as I am aware syrup does not.I find the honey is excellent quality and perfect to replace sugar as it’s natural. I also find I use more when I have a cold and it’s so southing on the throat.

This pretty much never turns hard, unless you don't eat it within 6-7 months after opening.This tastes great and I love how cheap it is, but there is no way this is 100% pure honey, but hey - I don't think that they really claim that it is. They must add some other cheap sugars and syrups in there. That's okay though, as long as it's not bad for you, we will keep buying it.I would recommend this as a great affordable honey that you could get and it's definitely a lot cheaper and possibly at least just as real as what's in the supermarkets.One day we'll have enough money for the real £40 honey jugs though, but not yet...

Delighted with your honey, to the extent we are now on our third bucket.Alway have a chuckle at the best before date in the knowledge that honey taken from an Egyptian pyramid was probably getting on for 4,000 years old and still perfectly edible.

So I got this honey so I can make my herbal tea and have with honey well this is not honey this is fake made up of golden syrups etc I tasted it and it doesn’t taste like honey at all the advisement for it describes straight from hive to door which is a lie it has a date on it and we all no honey doesn’t go off so it shouldn’t have a date tag on it. This is one of those moments the price seems to good to be true and that’s because it was

im certainly no expert but it looks like honey and tastes like honey to me and you get lots of it for a decent price perfect for my mead making endeavour.one thing that did worry me where the reviews of people receiving loose, broken tubs of honey but it looks as though that issue is no more it comes securely packaged with its own labelled box and sealed within a zip lock bagoverall, lots of honey for not so much money. who can complain at that?
