Can you attach it to the ceiling where there’s no recessed lighting fixture? Are you able to add a cord to the center piece and use it as a plug in?

I suppose an electrician could for sure! I installed it to the ceiling light in the room I have specially decorated for my grankids…it’s soooo fun!!

Got any recommendations for figuring out spacing of the wire holders?

Play with the “arms” to figure out how you would like for it to look….install one…then find the one exactly across from it and install as a continuous line from the first….and so on

do u have to attach it to an existing light fixture? our room doesn't come with any lights installed

The installation place needs to have the power cord, you can pull the power cord to the ceiling. Can you understand that? If you don't understand, you can ask me again. Thank you for liking my color chandelier!

Can these be hooked up to a dimmer switch?

Yes it can, our chandelier is hooked to the dimmer and it works perfect
