It's great RAM in my server. Boy am I glad I bought it when I did. You reading this review? You can't get this anymore, it costs 10x more if you can even find it. Sorry. Thanks Mr T.

It feels kind of crazy to me... I paid almost the same amount of money for 128GB of RAM as I did for a 120GB SSD in 2010. After having just upgraded my desktop to 32GB of RAM last year, I've started running into issues from a lack of available memory (I run lots of virtual machines, and even on the host OS (Arch Linux), I do a lot at the same time). Blows my mind. Maybe I'm just getting old, but feeling "restricted" by 32GB of RAM is just so interesting to me, from having grown up using DOS with a whopping 1MB (yes, megabyte!) of RAM. Either way, I decided that I don't want to ever need to worry about upgrading the RAM on this desktop ever again. My trust Ryzen 5 2600 is happily running with 128GB of RAM (only at 2933 though, the 2600 is pretty difficult to get memory running faster than that). I have a Ryzen 9 5900X on the way to really make use of all of this RAM. I have to say AM4 has been an absolutely excellent platform for upgradability, and the last few RAM upgrades have been with Corsair Vengeance LPX DIMMs. Fantastic price to performance from a reputable brand. I did have a warranty issue with the 32GB kit I purchased last year, but Corsair very quickly replaced the bad DIMMs, and I had no worries about buying the 128GB kit. I'm definitely set until I can't squeeze anything else out of this AM4 setup (well, at least, as soon as the 5900X gets here!). If you've got an AM4 system you really want to push as hard as you can, may as well get 128GB of RAM for it!

It worked fine for 4 hours upon first installation. The next day, it booted straight to Blue Screen with memory management + kernel panic errors. If successfully bootes into Windows, it'd Blue Screen again within 10min. Also, it's 3200MHz, not 3600 as advertised. Returned immediately.

I've been running these in my PC for about 6 months now. My PC is running at 128GB RAM very nicely. Bit fiddly installing it in, but that's just because I have a cooling pipe and fans right near where the RAM slots are, hence why I went for low profile RAM chips, otherwise I would have gone for RGB ones. Word of advice, make sure you choose the right XMP profile in the BIOS. The ones I bought are meant to be set to 3200MHz, I accidently set it to the 3600MHz profile. As you can imagine, it was unstable and crashed a couple of times. I went into the BIOS and realised I'd set it to the wrong XMP profile...what a pillock lol! Since putting it on the correct XMP profile, it's ran like a dream, and I push my machine hard with editing and rendering very large video files. But yeah, other than my own "idiot moment," faultless!
