En perfectas condiciones.
Está perfecto, los bordes un poco desgastados, pero lo normal en un libro de segunda mano. Sin marcas, sin anotaciones... Está muy bien cuidado.

Excellent Book, Brilliant Author, Absolutely Love it!!
Andy Field's book for me reinforces a maxim - that British academics are far superior to their American counterparts in writing accessible texts. All of my favorite textbooks are written by British authors. They are all logical and do an excellent job in holding the reader's hand. Among these, Andy's book is exceptional. You can tell from the organization, use of visuals, textual signposts, etc that Andy attaches great importance to making the book accessible to his readers. The introduction to each chapter relates a personal (usually from childhood) experience of the author and cleverly weaves statistical concepts (relevant to the chapter) into the narrative which by the way is written in a very witty and funny way (just like every other part of the textbook). This enables you to understand from the get-go what the general idea of the chapter is. But it gets better. The rest of the chapter is an excellent and lucid explanation of the theory and SPSS practice of the concepts, infused with a special sense of humor. The author is able to predict which bits might be boring (difficult) to the reader - and the textual development reflects this understanding. He almost apologizes for the theory sections - which injects a sense of humanity in an academic textbook. If you just go straight to the SPSS section (skipping theory), you should still be able to follow the step by step (hand-holding) explanation that Andy patiently provides. Some prudish readers might find the kind of humor in Andy's book not exactly to their taste - but then they need to read the subtitles of the book before purchasing - instead of leaving negative comments here. Some other commenters (or 'mean-spiritied badger turds - as Andy affectionately calls them) complain that the cat/sex/ examples in the book are not the same as the data set they are working on. But this is silly - which textbook would use YOUR dataset as an illustration? The examples that Andy use had a lot of thought that went into them. They were devised to achieve maximum clarity and relevant to the chapter's content - so that you can understand the concepts!I absolutely love this book. If every other textbook were written in this way, knowledge acquisition would be easier, faster, and ENJOYABLE experience for everyone. Thank you Andy for showing the rest of the world THE WAY!!
