We have the thicker "Easygraph" and the thinner "Easygraph S" as well as both the left and right hand versions. The thinner one is more suitable for older kids from about 6/7 years of age. Once they start joined up writing get the thinner one. I have attached a picture next to a one penny coin for you to have some idea of the relative sizes.The main reason I got these pencils over others is the grooves and the triangular shape . The grooves are a constant reminder to children to check and correct their grip. These definitely help. Maybe a little. Maybe be a lot. Give them a try.

They really help my toddler with pincer skills when it comes to writing. The grooves in the pencil means they can hold the pencil better.I thought it was a gimmick but it really does help.If you child is struggling, I would recommend these. 4* as they could be cheaper.

My son didn't seem to hold his pens/pencils correctly; causing him to have achy hands and messy handwriting and a general disinterest in doing any activities involving handwriting. I tired a number of different things but to no avail and bad habits had set in! I found these pens/pencils online doing further research and had nothing to lose to try them.I can honestly say that there has been a vast improvement in his handwriting in a short period of time. He found it awkward to hold at first but soon got used to it and his confidence and handwriting has continued to grow and he even enjoys using the colouring pencils I purchased as well. Surprisingly, kids just love these pencils and prefer them to anything else. I admit I bought them rather for Stabilo brand, as I love their products, but I didn't expect these pencils to actually improve the writing habits or bring any additional joy to the process. Well, they certainly do.

Made holding a pencil correctly, easy. It was easy trying to teach the 5-year-old to hold a pencil correctly but after showing him where to place his fingers, it was easy sailing after that. I noticed when he was writing his name it was smaller and neater than his usual large letters, not by much just a subtle difference.
