I find that it's tasteless. Have you ever used Psyllium Husks? If you haven't, if add your liquid and let it sit a few, it will gel up. I usually just put in water and drink down before gel.

What is the purity level of this product ?.

I have no idea of the purity level but it certainly doe the trick

Well, almost tasteless. About the same taste as coarse grain metamucil.

Is this the fine white powder or is it the seeds?

Not a fine powder, but coarse husks. So expect some texture, unless you're using a blender. But, this is one of the few products that I have found without sugars or aspartame.
