Wonderful resource for my University assignments.

I just paid yet another $30 to be able to do my job. I'm not at one of those schools with "funds" for "extras" like "style manuals" that might "let a person do a major portion of their job." The APA updates these every few years, and the rest of the APA-style world has to stop what it's doing and learn a new system. Some of these changes are for good reason, like avoiding reductive language. Others seem motivated by such minor concerns that one wonders how desperately the APA needs a bit of extra funding this year. Oh, I should bold my figure names now? Amazing!Overall, this is the 21st century. Computers exist. The APA is not supposed to be for-profit. How about making the PDF free to download and the hardcopy $15 on print-by-demand? Even better, I'd pay $5 for a PDF that could be updated electronically with higlighted changes the next time the APA decides to make a small but critical chunk of tens of thousands of scholars' skill sets obsolete.

The content of the book looks great. I really like the idea of the tabs for different sections and having it spinebound seemed better for flicking through like a reference book. However, the pages are like tissue paper they are so thin!!! This will absolutely not last and the pages are definitely going to tear off the spine. I'm really disappointed by the quality. I will be returning and buying the paper back version. Here's hoping it's of sounder structure.

Great manual for APA. I am a copyeditor with 20 years' experience and this has to be one of the best laid out manuals I've ever used.

The spiral-bound version makes it really easy to browse the manual and find exactly what you're looking for. The colours are also a nice touch. All the guidelines are straightforward, and it's great to have a consistent format to follow in all papers.
