When I was redoing the plumbing I replaced the city water inlet at the stern of the boat with this one to have a quick connection and eliminate having to fight with the hose and the 3/4 inch inlet. The quality is excellent and is a close match to the other stainless steel fittings I am using for the washdown, water tank fill, waste pump-out, and fuel inlet (the boat is dirty from working on it and the water inlet isn't changed yet). I chose this product because the cover provides a good seal to prevent contamination from entering the water supply. The previous inlet I tried was not as durable and the cover would not stay in place, and had the 3/4 inch inlet. For a matching washdown outlet I used the Aquor Marine Deckwash. RV city water inlet. That piece is almost identical, but is embossed with "washdown" instead of "aquor". The check valve held properly against the 55psi pump on the boat and the high-pressure city water. You will want to add a 3/4 inch female to female adapter as this only has a 3/4 inch male connector and you will probably find a male hose end at the marina. This is a great value for the clean look and ease of use, and I expect it to hold up for a long time!

I got this for my Sprinter van that I’ve built into a camper, and it works great to fill the 20 gallon water tank. The hydrant body is solid and very well made, and the hose connector fits seamlessly to prevent leaks. Also, I like that you can control the water flow directly at the hose connector by turning the ball valve. The only thing that was a hiccup was that the I needed to go to Ace to get a female to female hose adapter since the Aquor hose connector fits the wrong end of the hose. I emailed Aquor to inquire about this and they did give me an immediate and thorough response, so I appreciated seeing they have good customer service. The fix was to get the female to female connector, which I did and everything works fine. Minor hiccup. Great product.

Compare this to $20 rv water hookups and it’s a no brainer. This product is high quality and stout! Time will tell how it holds up but I’ve got a feeling it’ll do very well. Installation challenges may arise so take your time but overall it is very easy to install. The only thing that has me scratching my head is that a standard hose end and the Aquor hose connector are both male threads. Not sure why that is.

I bought two of these for a camper van build I've been working on. One for the fresh water fill, the other for my shower connection. The quality of this product is amazing! Very well made, they work great (no leakage), and look very nice! Well worth the money for such a great product! I highly recommend!

This is a well made product. But, for my application I've installed on interior fill for Sprinter fresh water system. I was under the assumption this was going to be a solid solution, but when the hose attachment is removed a small amount of water back-flows. Given this is interior not ideal. If I would have known this I would have stuck with CPC connectors.

We installed this in our ram promaster van conversion. It was easy to install and made with quality materials. Definitely a solid purchase and would re-buy for other conversions.

I replaced my old water inlet with the RV City Water Inlet two years ago and it has been a huge upgrade over the old plastic garden hose inlet. The Aquor product is sleek, secure and rugged design. I love the flush design that is near flat with the panel of my Sprinter RV. The exposed stainless steel looks new like the day it was installed. The design is structurally rugged, basically all metal, with nothing to deteriorate. The use of a design specific connector ensures that no foreign hose is inadvertently hooked up to my fresh water system. It is expensive compared to the typical plastic inlets but in this case you get what you pay for. Thanks Aquor for providing a superior product. John Y

The unit looks nice and appears to be manufactured well. But it's very poorly thought out. The business end has a male hose thread. Meaning for it to work with really any hose you need a double female FHT adapter. This is bad is a couple ways. One, these adapters are often cheaply made and don't last long. And very often leak themselves. They also rely on O-rings that tend to easily fall out. Two, it quickly turns a nice looking solution into a junky mess once you add the adapter. With a traditional water fill on an RV you are just putting the hose end directly in the fill hole. No leak points. Once you add the adapter to this unit you have a total of 4 potential leak points. The two O-rings on the unit itself and then the two screw on points on the adapter. This to me is a pointless deal breaker. Why on earth would they make the unit have a male end? Almost every hose on earth would be a male threaded end. Looks nice. Functions poorly. Save your money.

It arrived quickly, and I opened it up and it seem very well made. It is heavy metal and the quick connect part is thick plastic. Now to install it and put it to the test

I realized that the spout that came with my Alu-Cab was not as well designed as the Aquor system! I can now fill and drain from this set up! I am very Happy I made the decision to buy this product and have also turned other Alu-Cab owners onto this product and have now installed!

La qualité est excellente. La construction est solide et je n'ai aucun doute sur sa durabilité à long terme. L'installation a été très simple. L'embout qui se connecte a un connecteur mâle et tout mes tuyau d'arrosage aussi. J'ai du acheter un connecteur femelle/femelle. Bref, c'est cher mais c'est de bonne qualité et fonctionne à merveille.
