This fits perfectly in my 6 qt. insta pot. After reading and watching different videos I figured I needed these. And they work great. When your making a chicken in your insta pot the ring absorbs the seasonings and if you don't change it when making something sweet like yogurt it will have a slight chicken flavor. So now I have 3 one for beef, one for chicken, and one for sweets, and my original one that came with my insta pot I use when I make pasta dishes or rice
