Great Scan Tool For The Money !!!
I have hesitated writing this review until after I made repairs to my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. The front magneride struts went bad on my vehicle and I was told I would need to do a "Trim Height Relearn Procedure after I replaced the struts. This scan tool performed great and completed the relearn in a matter of seconds which made me happy since the dealer wanted more to do the same procedure as this scan cost. I like the display on the Foxwell NT510 Elite which is easy to read and operate. If you can operate a iPhone you can operate this scan tool. The only downside I have with this product is the confusion during setup on should I register or do I need to register or is the unit already registered? Some of the instructions contradict themselves but overall it's a great scan tool for a DIY'er like myself.

Great buy with the easiness to hook to internet and begin scanning for codes.
My husband had used this numerous times and actually does allot more than he knows it can do. He’s happy and is looking into buildings an engine in a newer model Chevrolet where he will use this and without it he would be completely lost. Well worth the money 5 star rating, he updates it about once a week weather he needs to or not and will randomly hook it up to his truck just to be curious about things, he wants to learn how to tune next so he can do more but maybe later on down the road. The code reader hooked right up to the internet in his shop and scans for problems with ease no doubt he loves his new toy.

This unit will reprogram remotes/key fobs instructions are limited
This did what i needed it to do.. which was reprogram new remotes on my 2013 and 2014 Yukon XL. The tech was gonna charge me $125 which wasn't bad... but this only cost $180.50. I haven't checked out any other features.... I just wanted to reprogram my remotes. It seems nice though... it reads the vehicle info (vin) and worked flawlessly. It did not erase the previous remotes. It wasn't the easiest to find the correct menu, but i found it. It does read codes and a whole host of other things.... but operating it might take a little bit of work

NT510 Elite Cannot register product, already registered to someone else!(SOLVED)
It's an ok product, was able to figure out some things with my Chevy trailblazer however, Im unable to register the unit online to update it or install more vehicle software. When I tried it gave me a message saying my unit was already registered, I was unable to create a support ticket through the website so the support for is no real support at all. So yeah... That sucks but for a basic unit it's ok I guess. UPDATE** I had to adjust my original review from 3 stars to 5! Not only did FOXWELL reach out to me they have rectified the issue I was having and also provided me a full refund for the trouble which is not their usual policy. I'm very impressed by their level of customer care and (Lucy) from their customer care department is amazing! With the 12 hour time difference She made sure I was not only satisfied but showed a genuine concern and pride in their product they deserve this update and more stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks FOXWELL!! I will be recommending this company just be sure you do your research on the unit you need as they have several at a incredible price.

***Cadillac Owners Beware***
Bought this unit after consulting with Foxwell and they assured me that it would do a crankshaft relearn, but found out after returning for a refund from them telling me my model 2008 Cadillac SRX does not have 'relearn' capability. I know that is a bunch of bull because I have a Service Manual that explicitly says to do a relearn on this yr model if you change the crankshaft sensor which I replaced. There was no issue on the refund but I would find it hard to recommend this to anyone with a similar make & model Cadillac. One caveat they (Foxwell) told me that it would do a relearn on a 4.6L but that is bull hockey also as I looked and tried to run it saying I had a 4.6L. Mine is a 3.6L.

Kinda Works
For context I have 7 vehicles in my family, 3 Toyotas, 3 GM's and 1 Jeep - Gripe# 1 - I bought this specifically to do a Crankshaft Position relearn procedure on an 06 Hummer H3 which according to the questions section, this product is supposed to do, It doesn't. It'll take you through the whole procedure then just sit there and either say it can't connect or it's 'in progress' which is code for - it's locked up and you need to disconnect it. So, I emailed the company asking about the Relearn since it supposed to be capable, Never heard back from them. And yes, I previously ran all updates prior to using. Gripe# 2 - this particular unit came with GM software preloaded, I also downloaded Toyota software @ $80 a pop prior to trying the above procedure (my stupidity) So if you want other car manufacturers software, expect to pay between $60-$80 US as of this review. So because I jumped the gun like an idiot, returning this is out of the question since China won't refund my $80 for the download. Otherwise it would've went back. Gripe #3 - This also claims to be able to code keys, although to be fair in the Q&A section, I didn't see anywhere that they answered positively that it'll code keys for any vehicle, however their advertising says it does. I have a remote for one of my GM's that for some reason stopped working, changed battery, nothing, tested RFID signal and it's good to go, tried the Foxwell, it just gives some kind of generic instructions to manually reprogram the remote that does absolutely nothing, so another strike against this unit. Now, on the positive side, all's not bad, I WAS able to successfully disable the annoying seatbelt alarm on my Toyotas, I use a seatbelt 100% of the time driving on the road, but my driveway is a 1/2 mile long, so stopping to get the mail then having to buckle up to drive down my driveway is annoying. So, at least that works, but apparently this isn't an option for GM, and I don't plan to put out another $80 for the Jeep software to find out how well that doesn't work. Also on the plus side, it does function as a standard OBDII scan tool for generic codes for ALL makes of vehicles, it's just the "advanced" features you need to pay to download the software for a particular manufacturer. In summary, I would not recommend this to someone looking to take advantage of advanced troubleshooting, it's just a basic code reader at the end of the day IMO. Maybe down the road it'll pay for itself, but for now, I consider it a waste, It supposedly comes with free lifetime updates, so we'll see if at some point they improve the features. I'm now looking into the Innova 5610, probably what I should have bought before this, but it is twice the price, and I was lead to believe this unit would do the job. The innova however is preloaded with over 57 makes and I called the company directly and the tech confirmed it will do my Relearn procedure, anyone interested, they are located in California and the tech answered the phone, never put me on hold, confirmed what he was telling me was factual, so I'm looking forward to getting that and will do a separate review, but already they impressed me with their customer service, I also called Autel asking what model with do a relearn, I own some of their other stuff and like them, but their units capable of doing a simple relearn start at $1000 so, no thanks, I also had to wait for a call back to find that out. As for the Foxwell, overall, I'm disappointed in it, but hope to find use for it in the future, however anyone looking to buy one, I think there's better options out there from better manufacturers. I read where Foxwell claimed this unit will perform 90% of GM TECH2 (what dealerships use) functions, After playing with it, I'd put that figure between 10-25% if that matters to anyone. And last, I hate writing negative reviews, But unfortunately not everything is great, most products I buy work as advertised, this isn't one of them. Customer support is horrible, the unit itself doesn't do what Foxwell claims so I can't really recommend this to anyone unless you're fine with paying for software to scan other makes of vehicles, mediocre performance on advanced scanning, for now, save your money and look elsewhere.
