Lacking Any Depth
With the authors' claimed credentials I expected great things from this book.Unfortunately, like so many on this subject, it lacks any depth. It was just chapters of common sense.I expected things like examples of letters to send to landowners, resources on where to find investers etc... Beyond the theory which I'd guess most people already know, there's no advice on how to actually go about things which is what I expected. There's nothing about surviving economic ups and downs, no anecdotes about avoiding costly mistakes and no real world examples. All of this is promised on the cover.I feel the purpose of this book, like so many on this topic, is to whet the readers appetite for the industry without giving away "secrets" and sell tickets to the authors' training programme. If you are a total newbie and don't have any idea where to start, this might give you some guidance and inspiration, but if you've already dabbled in property then there is nothing new here.It very short too, only 80 small pages and easily read in a day.

Great for a wobbly table.
A small book that outlines the procedure for building a house but not a single word on construction methods. If you have zero knowledge then this will give you the basics (which you could get from your local council website) and some 'pep talk' on why new builds are a good option. Don't expect anything on subjects such as setting out a build, levels, footings, floor types, brick compared to ICF, SIPs, timber frame etc. as you will be disappointed. If you have a wobbly table, pop this thin book under one of the legs and it just doubled its value.

An excellent book on property development!
As a new property developer this book has been extremely helpful and informative. It’s a very light read and is packed with practical information that I’ve already put to use in my business.

Should cost a pound
Waste of time and money I thought this book was a proper book but it’s more like a pamphlet you get to install your fire alarm waste of money definitely will be sending it back
