This Kartboy short throw shifter with white line bushings was the perfect 👍🏻 set up for my 2001 Forster s , so f’en happy with how it feels

The package came very quickly. Living in Hawaii you realize things take very long to get here. I was suprised to see this package after 2 days of ordering it. As far as performance it is a night and day difference from the stock shifter. I recommend this item to anyone wanting to tighten up the shifting on their forester.

My god, what a difference. I don't lose my revs between gears now and the car FEELS faster. Gear changes sound and feel better. I should've done this mod on day one.

Kartboy FTW.... bought this for my Fxt because I had one in my Sti and loved it. Install was straight forward, would recommend the package deal that comes with the shifter bushings also. Don't buy a "cheap" shifter, the build quality, fit and finish are outstanding. Imho this and the Cobb are the best on the market.

I can't explain how much of an improvement this has been over the stock shifter. It locks in more firmly, it is very easy to install, the shifts are now like they should have been when the car was made. I'm able to shift fast enough to not lose all of my boost and RPMs, making this car even faster than before. PERFECT upgrade.

The throw is drastically reduced. It also height is also a bit shorter unless you install the Kartboy rear shifter bushing which is a B!#$@ to get on! I recommend both the bushings though they definitely makes the shifts tighter and reduce movement of the stick.

Great for the money . Really tightens up the throw. Would recommend the TIC linkage update kit along with this!
