You would need mini display adaptor by club-3D unless you have an adapter that makes mini display port to full size display port and display port needs to be female so you can hook up display port cable from this. The 30" Cinema display has Dual link DVI which requires USB connection as well, My GPU has Display port and HDMi so I am using display port and also USB from this adapter. I have used other adapters but this one is best within this price range that gives resolution of 2560x1600. First time hook up it will give you 1280x800 and then you have to manually change the resolution in display preference to 2560x1600 and then every time it will defaults to 2560x1600 once the system boots up after the login.
