I bought this as an outdoor backpack for trips, overnight stays, and for walking my dog. I don't light sitting my bad down and the bottom getting wet because sometimes I leave towels and extra shirts in there, socks, etc. This worked out well for that. I wouldn't say it's waterproof, but the leather bottom does not absorb water and it's a nice backup. I would also use it for school or general backpack needs. It's a quality product.

This backpack has tons of space. I have a pretty large laptop and it was actually able to fit in the laptop slot, which was not possible with my previous backpack (I had to carry it in the main compartment instead). I also love the color. It probably sounds stupid, but I picked it specifically to match a Boba Fett Funko Pop keychain that I got a few weeks before (I actually needed the backpack but this is what made me choose green and brown) and they look pretty good together. I hang it from one of the zippers on the main compartment.

Less than 2 months of normal 2nd grader use and the main zipper completely broke and fell off. Too late for a return. Disappointed.
