Q: How do these compare to the Harley Tessa boots?

I don’t care for those Tessa boots with all those zippers. I don’t know I bought the Bose for $109 and now they’re up to 170. They’re not worth 170. But they’re not bad boots. At $170 you’re at a higher rent boots and them waterproof insulated or just waterproof. These are A decent boot but way overpriced. I guess they put them on Amazon they got popular and they raise the price. You can go anywhere else and buy them cheaper. Unless they make them for Harley but something just like them. They are a very common style of Harley boot You can buy a similar pair at the dealership cheaper. They do have that little zipper which is kind a cool but how much are you really going to use it. Hope this helps

Q: Are these soft leather or is there a break in period required? Are they comfortable? I’m wanting these for rock concerts, so I will be standing a lot.

They are not soft leather. I bought these for my wife and she did break them in. She does stand on them all day now and really likes them.

Q: Are these boots waterproof?

Yes to some extent. Simple waterproof spray will help even more. BTW boots are well worth the money. Excellent war thus far.
