Will this affect the adhesive strength?** A: 3M only offers that product in 36 yard rolls so all short length rolls go on to a rewinder. It does not affect performance though – actually most tape originally starts off in jumbo roll format like 1000 meters and then goes on to a slitter/rewinder at the manufacturer plant like 3M to make the cut rolls (like ½ inches x 36 yards). If you ever find you need to remove it, be careful and patient in the removal or you could mess up your dash finish.
