Iโm really happy with this EliteShade umbrella base. Itโs super easy to fill with water (or sand if you want it even heavier), and once itโs full, it holds my patio umbrella nice and steady โ even on breezy days. The material feels strong and durable, and I like that it has built-in handles, which make it easy to move when itโs empty. It looks clean and simple on my patio, and it fits perfectly with my umbrella pole. Iโve had no issues with tipping or wobbling. The only small thing is that itโs a bit bulky to move once filled, but thatโs kind of expected with any heavy base. Overall, itโs a great, sturdy umbrella stand that does exactly what itโs supposed to do. Totally worth it for the peace of mind on windy days!

I bought the Square shaped umbrella stand and used water to fill each square. Each square is about 20-25lbs. Total = 80-100lbs. When installed, there are 4 metal anchors that are used to pull all pieces together by pulling them tighter and closer together. The base fits most patio umbrellas with an Steel cross base as shown in my images. The 4 umbrella base sections are made to overlap each cross section of the frame of the umbrella, which I tried to show in one of my images. Overall, this was a good buy and a very sturdy product. I would recommend.

The opening to these weights is very small, too small to effectively put sand in. So we used water instead. It seems one of the weights has a small slow leak, so we may have to use sand after all. These weights have a recessed area near the umbrella center to accommodate a foot pedal to rotate the umbrella. I was shopping specifically for a product that would have allowance for this and also look nice. The weights look great! I love the garden step stone sort of pattern on top. Iโm considering spray painting the top so it blends more with my patio. The weights are staying in place well enough, no complaints there.
