They work well
No signal degradation when putting them inline to a serial tap. However, im only using low baudrate (~128k ) communications over converters.

Generally okay, but...
The male ones have the socket nut on both sides, so I think "Okay, I'll just take the hardware off. They fall apart without the hardware, which means they can not be used at the end of a cable; they are only good for joining two cables. So I really can't use them. The female ones are very good and built differently. UPDATE: The one that fell apart, I re-assembled and used LocTite super glue to hold it together and it is now doing the job I needed it for. The Male to Male connectors should be made so that it uses male db screw hardware or can be used without the hard ware.

Good Quality
Quality was good, used at a customer site. They come in two bags already separated, I used with a normal RS232 serial cable into a null modem without any issues. Exactly as expected.
