I am so pleased with these..I bought them to hold my Hummingbird Feeders and was amazed at how quickly they go together...They are so Strong and Study I could put really heavy things on them....they are Silver ..they have fantastic 4 stakes on the bottom that make them very study and hardfast. I ordered a second set and it was defective and she promised to send me a new hook to replace the old one without bothering to return the old...Still haven't gotten it

Beautiful shepherd hooks terrific stability with 4 prong stakes. I am going to hang hummingbird feeders on them in strategic places for the wee ones fine dining. 😄 Shipping fast and communication regarding a misdirected pkg was taken CARE of immediately with a satisf as story outcome. I just wanted to mention it because things happen as nd no one tells about the great customer service Amazon has.I am a regular Amazon shopper...for all these great reasons. 😁

The poles come in several pieces that are easy to twist together. They seem sturdy and hold a fairly heavy bird feeder. The hook is small/short, so it doesn't fit a squirrel baffle above, and the length I ordered wasn't super tall, so when stuck into the ground, a top baffle isn't useful. The feeder would be too low to the ground. So perhaps consider ordering a taller pole than you might think you want. The length includes the portion that goes into the ground, as well.I did order two. The first went into the ground just fine. The second, I must have hit a tree root or rock, and since I was jumping on it to get it to go into the ground, then tipped over, because I was trying not to land on some nearby plants, the bottom part did bend. It was not possible to bend it back without breaking it. So the caution is to be certain where you are putting the pole does not have any tree roots or rocks or something that might block it. I'd buy this item again.

Do not waste your money on these design defects in this hanging bird feeder. The central pole is hollow with no point for driving it into the ground. Even pounding the top of the unit with a rubber mallet does not work to drive it in - even though we had had 2 inches of rain the day before. Because the central pole cannot enter the ground far enough, the 4 side stabilizing brackets do not even touch the ground. One is welded to the central pole, but the other keeping trying to fall off as it just slips onto the pole. Additionally this unit is not adjustable - thought would imply that you can set it a different positions along the continuum. All you can do with this unit is use both pole section or just use one - hardly adjustable. I seriously doubt that the vendor selling this has tried setting it up on their own. I have already filed a return request with Amazon after trying for 2 days to assemble it.

This is an awesome & sturdy hook!!! It’s Very heavy duty & strong! I purchased this to hang a pretty humming bird feeder in my yard🌸 This is 51” long, however the stake on the bottom that is stuck into the ground is about 10”...So the actual height from the base to the actual hook is about 40”! This hook is perfect for SO many different uses. I love hanging a bunch of different things in my yard; especially in my garden & flower beds 🌸 Really adds charm to my yard!!! LOVE IT!!!♥️Right now, I have a bunch of different gardening signs, flower pots & bird feeders around my yard!!! Now I need to order a couple more to complete my yard for summer this year 🐦 🌸♥️

I wanted to get a tall shepherd’s hook in our backyard to place a bird feeder. This durable shepherd’s hook is constructed of stainless steel metal with a 16mm diameter and pole thickness of 0.8mm, so this is quite sturdy and not flimsy. This hook comes with a bottom piece with five (5) legs to easily stake into the ground, three (3) middle poles and the top shepherd’s hook. Additionally, this pole is resistant to rusting when used outdoors which is nice.I wasn’t sure if the 62 inch height pole would be tall enough, so I opted for the 78 inch height. What’s nice is that this is adjustable, so I don’t need to use all of the middle poles if I choose and can even have this low to the ground by just attaching the hook to the leg part, so this is versatile and meets any needs. This is super easy to assemble simply by twisting and tightening the poles together one by one. With gravity, the taller the poles are, the less stable it is, but even at 78 inches, it holds up pretty well. I actually think 78 inches is a perfect height for a bird feeder because it’s neither too short or too tall and looks great in our backyard! The birds will be happy and well-fed.

Got these for my wife. Not sure why she wanted a collapsible hook system, but she wanted them.They arrived, nice packaging, everything was simple and straightforward in assembly...But...We received 2 of these. The first had an issue with one of the joints. It did not want to screw together tightly. The instructions say to turn untill firm (another poorly worded instruction sheet). It appears that the 2 tubes that make up this unit are of a slightly different size. Not enough that the threads can't catch, but they slip out as soon as any torque is applied.I set the 1st one aside and grabbed the 2nd one. Same issue, except on both of the joints.Since these were cheap in the first place, I did not expect much, but I did expect them to at least go together correctly. A little epoxy and now they are no longer collapsible...So, it's a pole with a hook. Now just to figure out how to make them stand up and stay up... Concrete brick kinda defeats the purpose of the asthetic, but with all different types of soil and density (wet soil soft, dry soil hard) the little fork on the bottom is good for a small bird feeder in no wind.This whole thing is not really worth it to me.

Great product and sturdy would advise getting a longer one but this suffices. Registered for extra guarantee and requested information never got a reply. Therefore good product rubbish aftersales

These are the perfect, I love that they are adjustable… we were a little worried that they wouldn’t stand straight with a lot of weight, but they worked perfectly for us..The best ones we have purchased yet…

The pole was not constructed properly. The base was supposed to be even on the bottom. Major junk.

Much shorter than expected and not capable of holding anything other than extremely light items. This was purchased to hold a hanging basket of flowers (small) and no matter how it was adjusted it could not hold the weight.
