Overall this is a great summer hat and it has become one of my favorites to wear. Being able to adjust it to your head size is great. You can wear it a little loose on those really hot days and tighten it up on a windy day. There are few things that have made this a winner for me. First, it breaths and it’s light weight. Some synthetic fabrics trap in moisture and heat but this one doesn’t do that. Also, those that don’t breath just make you sweat more and all that sweat runs down your face. That’s not the case with this fabric. Second, the brim is a little stiff so it can be shaped the way you like it to a point. It’s a floppy hat with no wire in the brim. With that slight stiffness when I snap it up on the side the brim rolls out a bit so my ears are covered. Also, the brim holds it shape in a strong breeze, with the sides snapped up, but the hat doesn’t become a sail. I have some wide brim hats that the least little breeze wants to blow off bit this one holds on really well. Finally, the crown isn’t too large. I don’t have a large head so some hats with large crowns make me look like Elmore Fudd but this doesn’t. It’s a great sun hat for the really hot muggy days, wear it in the pool or pack it away easily when needed.

I bought this hat to use with an organization that I volunteer with. It was a hit and other volunteers asked where I got it so that they could get one. The hat was very lightweight and comfortable. It provided my with some awesome protection from the beaming sun. I do not recall breaking a sweat in that hat. I was able to get the hat embroidered on the front of the bucket. I really like the hat’s vivid red color. The hat is made of some very durable material that dries quickly. It has the ability to fold up the brim on the both sides of the hat and has a drawstring in the back to ensure a snug fit. The strap that hangs down from the hat provides more security for the hat. It can be worn in the front or the back. I like most, people that I have seen, wear it in the front and just draw it up under the chin to mitigate it from blowing off. I have many of these hats and really like them. I use them on vacations, working in the yard and outdoor excursions. I highly recommend them.

Nice, light weight hat. I like it a lot better than a much more expensive one I own. If you wash it and dry it with the brim flat, it will tend to stay that way. Doesn't get all floppy. Liked it some much I bought a second. You can't beat the price.

Bought this for my landscaping job over the summer. It blocked my face well, but it didn’t cover my neck fully but that’s okay. It’s lightweight, breathable, and comfortable. I would get it drenched in sweat and covered in dust every day while mowing and weed-whacking, but it cleaned well in the wash (however it did become more floppy and less sturdy after washing a couple times, didn’t bother me). I bought a second one so i could rotate throughout the week. Fit was perfect for me, i’ve got a big head and it didn’t need much adjusting, although it has the adjustments you need to make it fit for sure. The chin strap was a little long and would get caught on the mower throttle bars when i’d duck down to get under trees, which was annoying but i could’ve fixed it by tucking it in my shirt or something. it’s proved durable for me

Initially ordered one hat to wear while golfing in the desert sun. Subsequently ordered two more (all of different colors). Interestingly, hat is offered in multiple colors but not white which I prefer. Basic functionality of all hats was good for golf -- had brim is wide enough for good sun protection but not too floppy to play golf in, -- adjustable elastic fit around the inside of the hat band worked well and stayed in place once fixed -- hat depth sufficient to remain in place with decent sun protection on face -- I cut off the chin strap to avoid distraction during golf swing However, each hat was different -- First hat (red) did not have side snap to roll up brim of hat (that did not matter to me but it might to you) -- Second (khaki) looked like picture -- Third (light grey) was a bit darker than the photo and (more importantly) delivered folded in a plastic shipping bag resulting in four permanent creases in the brim that affect both appearance and functionality (the first two hats were delivered in a small shipping box). This is the primary reason I did not give this product more stars. I guess at these price points, consistent quality is too much to ask .. not certain if I will order a white one if it ever becomes available.

These are amazing. They are adorable and the kids love them. Light weight and easy for the kids to run and play in without the hat moving all over the place. Great sun protection. Kids say they don't get so hot when wearing these hats. They keep them cooler. Adjustable size which is awesome. We have two of these hats. One child has an 18.5" and the other a 20" head circumference. Also, one of the hats got completely filthy on its first use (while we were playing in the dirt). I washed it in a front load washer, with another hat, on the hand wash setting (air dried) and it came out just as perfect as when we got it. Great quality. Pictures show before wash and after wash. We are very pleased with these hats.

I have a hat very similar but I wanted a new one to go with my other purple items of clothing. This one has the side snaps to make you look like a Safari hunter. It really looks good and blocks the sun as it should, while allowing the slightest cooling breeze through the microscreen mesh band fabric. Fit is slightly loose on my medium head size and is comfortable. Walk my dog in our hot Florida summer mornings wearing this, grateful for its efficacy and quality. Get this and stay cool!

This is my second purchase. I love this hat! I bought one a few years ago and it’s held up. If it gets wet it dries relatively quick. It fits comfortably too, zero headaches for me. The old one has seen better days but it has zero tears, works great for yard work. It washes well too! It’s very lightweight so it can fly off with a little bit of wind but you have strings to keep it in place. It’s a cute hat too!

I did not like the black streaks of grease,dirt and dust on the hat. I was able to remove most of the marks.

Superb product, should be sold as an outfly brand.

I bought one for my husband because we are going on a trip. This will be easy to fit in the suit case. And the rim is wide enough to shield off the sun. My in law saw it and he got one too.

Fits well.
