All aluminum construction with Mill Finish. Tubes are on 6" centers and have a black vinyl o-ring to protect your rod and reel. Our unique and adjustable "L" bracket design clamps to the side of your bedrail, so no drilling is needed. Intended use is for standard size fishing rods. Please see our Heavy Duty Deep Sea Rod Holder if you need something more beefy. Overall dimensions are: 68" x 11" x 4" WARRANTY Plattinum is proud to offer on all of our personally fabricated products a 5 year limited warranty against manufacture’s defect. We cannot, however, cover any damage to a product inflicted through misuse or unintended uses for products and proof of purchase is required.

    Not for deep sea rigs

Perhaps for light freshwater tackle, but for blue water deep sea rigs- forget it.  First there are no pins in the tubes to engage rod buts to keep them from turning, or to keep straight buts from bottoming out on the reel. Second I put 1 5ft rig with a Tiagra80WA reel on it and the and the whole thing twists like a spring, on a full size stiff truck with 5 deep sea rigs? I don't think so.  Lots of customizing required to satisfy my needs.  Not prime shipping so not worth $100 extra shipping to return.
