These are a series of art and craft activity kits in which the very young child (3-5 years) gets involved with creative play. The theme and pictures thereof include those which the child of the age is very familiar with. There are 3 coloured picture templates provided for this theme. The child cannot see the pictures as they are covered with strips of peel - off gummed paper. Uniform mesh sand is provided in eight assorted colours and the child has to stick the appropriate coloured sand on the different parts of the template after peeling off the paper to get some amazing sand art pictures. The sparkling pictures look so terrific that they can be framed and displayed as well. These simple craft activities are great in developing the child's concentration and patience. Besides, they channelize the energy levels and the child gets involved completely in this very absorbing play activity. All children love being creative - if they are given the chance the act of being creative brings with it so many benefits. Besides promoting creativity it also helps the child of this young age to enhance fine motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination. ideal for gifting purpose and giveing endless hours of fun to your child.

Not at all worth the price
The product is not worth the price it is charged. May be because of that it isn't returnable too. Had the quality of boards a bit thicker and a4 size even then it would have been ok at the given price. Not at all recommendable as compared to the quality.

My kid enjoyed
The templates are good and sand quantity is enough to put them in template. Go for it guys.

cute craft, nice gift
My 7 year old and 4 year old boys did these and enjoyed them. The 7 year old needed a little direction at the beginning, but was able to do it on his own. My 4 year old needed help the whole time. Some of the sticker pieces are tiny and difficult to get off. My 7 year old didn’t mind that some of the stickers came off in multiples/chunks (most of his picture was red anyway), but another child might have an issue with that. I also had to regulate how much sand my four year old used for each section. Otherwise we would have run out after the first picture. We tried to conserve the runoff in separate cups as well, just in case. Instead of tapping it against the wax paper on our table, I tapped the artwork over separate cups for each color so that the extra could be re-used. We got pretty low on red and blue, but had some leftover sand in all the colors so we were probably more conservative than necessary. It was a fun project, and the final product looks really cool. This would make a good gift and if you’re worried about running out of sand, you could send extra sand (or glitter!) separately. The contents of the box are: 3 pre-gummed picture card templates of cars (background is not sticky), 7 packets of colored sand. The instructions are on the back of the box (no manual). I think the current price of $15 is too high. I’ve seen these for lower and while I appreciate that it is consumable and not adding to the clutter in our house, it is just sand and sticky paper after all.

Price Of Toy Doesn’t Match What’s Inside The Box
We were less than impressed with this sand art kit. Upon opening the box, the pieces of paper that cover the already-colored background scenes were totally unraveled from each picture. While that’s not important to making the sand art display, it looked like a paper mess inside the box, and considerably cheapened the product’s overall appearance. Because of that, this isn’t a toy I’d gift to anyone. That said, the paper sections that cover the sticky part of vehicles was hard to remove, especially if you want to adorn parts of a car with different colors. Our eight year old was frequently frustrated trying to make the cars look like what was pictured on the box, and Toy Kraft is very stingy on sand. Our end results look nice, but nothing like the photos on the box because we couldn’t pull off individual paper sections very well, and there wasn’t enough sand to comfortably work with.
