I loved this book as much as the first one.
I loved this book as much as the first one. I found Cary Siegel’s first book to be a “must have”, regardless of your age or station in life. I read it several times and implemented many of the author’s simple techniques and suggestions into my daily life. It has helped me immeasurably. So much so, that I bought many copies and gave them to friends and family. My biggest complaint was that I wanted more. It was a long wait...but as soon as I saw that the sequel was out, I bought it immediately. Mr Siegel picked up right where he left off and did not disappoint. The second book is just as good as the first one. Easy to read, and easy to implement. I can’t wait to read it a couple of more times!

Basic Principles for Success in Life
"Why Didn't They Teach Me This In School Too" is a book that I call the "gift that keeps on giving" as you can return to the many principles over and over again. Cary Siegel is a man all about principles. He brings to our attention how we can be conscious of our daily decisions regardless of age, and shares a life-enhansing guide to the personal traits he has discovered for attaining success, balance, and happiness in life. I highly recommend this book and have provided the 25 managers in my companies a copy to use in their daily meetings with employees, in order to share and put into practice the golden nuggets that are found throughout this book. Pearls of Wisdom
This book does not disappoint. It dispenses common sense, no nonsense, pearls of wisdom which are useful to people of all ages, but especially young adults who are entering the workforce.Much of what Cary Siegel espouses are lessons which I’ve attempted to instill in my own children. Mr. Siegel shares valuable and vital real-life advice in a manner which is clear, concise, digestible and humorous.I highly recommend this book. It would make a fantastic graduation gift.

Another great collection of life lessons from Cary Siegel
Like his first book, this easy to read “life manual” doesn’t preach. What it DOES do is remind you, and more importantly remind your kids who don’t yet have the benefit of a lot of life experiences yet, a few important “words to live by”. He teaches kindness, generosity, hard work, listening skills, and more. He’s not only saying “be a mensch”, he’s showing you how to.

Definitely recommend it!
Quick read and great follow-up to Siegel's first book. I loved his first book and gave it as gifts to high school and college graduates. This book continues with more areas of where to improve on one's life. If they could only teach this stuff in school, our kids would be better young adults coming out of school!
