Yes, there is a scrolling wheel between the mute and music buttons, that controls the volume.

Q: Have you used the USB ports for a mouse or flash drive?

Yes. Ran into power issue though with default motherboard ports using flash drive but not when plugged into my pci express usb add on card ports which feed more juice. So it depends on how much juice the usb ports output that the keyboard is plugged into.

Q: Does it have legs to raise the keyboard at an angle?

Yes it does have legs to raise it but the angle is very small. After raising it feels almost the same as without raising.
