If you have a blend of natural/synthetic fabric, it will only stain the synthetic fabrics, yielding a lighter version of the color. I used this on a pink sweatshirt that was a poly cotton blend. THe black ended up being a medium grey, which is what I set out for. If you have a blend and you want the fabric to dye fully, you will need to use a mix of this product ant the iDye that is meant for natural fabric. **Q: i have a red fleece poncho...will the black poly dye it correctly?** A: I doubt it.
