Hairless for summer!
I’m a repeat buyer of this product, and honestly, I don’t see myself switching anytime soon. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is the quantity you get. The number of strips included is unmatched compared to other brands I’ve tried. It feels like such a good value, especially if you wax regularly or like to touch up smaller areas between bigger waxes. The strips separate super easily. Out of the 100+ I’ve used over time, I’ve only had issues maybe twice, which is pretty impressive. I also love that you don’t need to heat them up. No microwave, no rubbing them between your hands like you're starting a campfire. Just peel, apply, and go. You can even cut them with scissors to get into smaller, tricky areas, which is perfect for brows or feet or any little spot that needs precision. As long as you follow the directions, they work really well. I wouldn’t say they’re totally painless, because let’s be real, it’s wax, but the sting is quick and totally manageable. The finishing wipes are great. There are plenty of them in the box and they smell amazing. They leave your skin feeling soft, clean, and soothed right after waxing, which is so appreciated. Sometimes a little wax does stick to the skin, but the wipes take care of it. I also like to use a gentle ointment afterward just to remove that final bit of tackiness and leave everything feeling fresh. Pros: ✅ Amazing value – so many strips for the price ✅ Easy to separate – no frustrating peel-aparts ✅ No heating required, making them super convenient ✅ Customizable – easy to cut for small or delicate areas ✅ Effective – works great when directions are followed ✅ Plenty of finishing wipes that smell lovely and actually soothe the skin ✅ Minimal pain – just a quick sting, nothing unbearable Cons: ❌ Occasional wax residue – but it’s easily handled with the included wipes ❌ Not totally painless, because, well, it’s waxing (but the discomfort is short-lived)

Good alternative
You can’t expect as good results as hot wax but this alternative works pretty well. It sometimes sticks to skin and doesn’t get the hair but 80% of the time it will rip the hair clean out.

Kids, Don't Try this At Home. Or Ever.
It started out promising. I peeled the little pieces apart and stuck them on very carefully in neat rows and let them sit for a while, so my legs were basically covered in what looked like huge pink pads. On the box it says “no longer needs to be rubbed to warm up the wax” so I figured hey, it might work better if I really rub it on there because obviously at one point in their product's lifespan, it needed heat. So I’m sitting on the bathroom floor rubbing my legs frantically to create friction because I can't find a hairdryer nearby. After about eight minutes, I try to peel one off. Not only is it incredibly painful, it leaves a huge square of sticky pink goo on my leg. However, I did get like five pieces of hair out so I was like YES. IT’S (sort of) WORKING. OKAY-ISH. So then I was like, I must not have held my skin down hard enough like they tell you to on the box. With one hand I’m pinching my leg like a crab while twisting to pull with the other hand and ripped as hard as I could. The strip of wax flew out of my hand right into my forehead. (Wrong hairs!!!) I got it off fast enough that it only took half my scalp with it and created a temporary set of (pink, gooey) bangs for me to enjoy. This time I took a very hard look at how much hair it was taking off because ouch. Unfortunately not much, maybe ten hairs, and I still had only gotten two tiny patches of leg finished, so I gave up and ripped away until I had gotten all the pieces off. By this time my legs looked like they had been attacked by thousands of bees - literally covered in leftover pink goo and bits of hair that hadn't been torn out, and wherever hair had been successfully removed, my skin was irritated, bumpy and splotchy. I hobbled into the shower to remove the pink goo and IT WOULD NOT REMOVE. I spent an hour and a half scrubbing wildly at my legs with a washcloth, scratching, soaping, razoring, soaking... that. stuff. is. intense. The ironic part is that the goo took bits of the washcloth with it, so the poor washcloth ended up denuded and my legs covered in blue cloth bits. In the end it was needless to use the wax strips to remove the hair because I’d practically removed my entire first layer of skin anyway in my attempt to remove the pink goo. I went to bed at 11 defeated and resigned, with pink blotches all over my legs like I was dying of some horrible disease. The upside was that my bedsheets were permanently glued to my legs all night so at least no one could steal the covers. This morning I tore the sheets off my legs and spent another hour and a half sitting on my bedroom floor scratching the goo off my legs before work. I'd prefer hairy legs to pink gooey legs any day. Never. Again.

I have been having my legs waxed at a salon for 35 years, but due to the Coronavirus lockdown, I thought I would try the easygel wax strips. This was my first ever home wax. They are excellent, & removed all of my leg hairs. A lot of reviews state that they do not remove many hairs, & the wax stays on your legs. As long as the strip is rubbed down on the leg for about 10 seconds, before pulling off, it works brilliantly. I also used the same strips twice. My legs are really smooth, with no irritation. The wipes are good at removing any residue, after waxing. I will probably use these strips after lockdown ends, as they are cheaper than salon prices!!

1. Smallish section strips supplied (would have been better to have had full calf length strips or an opportunity to by various sizes or even a mix) 2. Residue left after application. This needs washing off before going out or going to bed. I used the strips before bed time and found 20 minutes of time needed in order to 'scrub' off the wax. It didn't come off with just soap application or flannel use. I had to use a sponge with scrubbing back area in order to remove the various areas the wax decided to leave residue on. 3. The strips need pulling apart from each other for application. I believe this lessens the wax ability as some strips may take wax from the other strip its attached to. You have to be very careful on pulling each strip from the other as it can catch your fingers or other (around or by you). When the strips are separated you need to put the other strip (not yet being used) carefully to one side (if you can get it away from your fingers if it somehow clings to you) 4. Didn't remove all hairs. Re-application and still hairs stayed. The instructions claim the strips can be used over a few times but to be honest once or twice used.....lose the strip and pull removal aspect - so hardly worth using if going in for more than a 2nd reapplication. 5. Tried a strip on my arms and the hairs there are finer and after 2 days have not returned. On the legs, not a similar hoped for response. The legs have some hairs left and others gone and others starting to grow. Overall, a quite expensive hair removal that for me wasn't ideal for removing leg hair (on the calf areas). The strips are too short. You need to remember where you applied the last strip when carrying on with hair removal. Time consuming, messy stick wax residue that was stubborn to shift. Not removed all hair, some remained. Did I correctly follow instructions...yes I did. I daresay will work for others (as the reviews show hence influencing the decision to purchase) but for me (and others) a result that wont see my returning to purchase. Back to the epilator or foam removal cream. Both these applications have drawbacks such as epilating can be a bit painful and Veet removal foam application can tend to burn a bit (whilst on and a bit after being showered off ). The good old fashioned razor sees to quick instant hair remover but hairs grow back stubbly and make your legs prickly. Going to a beautician is pricey! Lots of hair removal products on the market but thankfully I tend to get away with hair removal due to having blonde leg hair so until there is a method that doesn't cause pain, burn or fast grow back or poor results then like the majority of us waiting for the right product to come on the market.
