Review: Quality - The nest is well made and a good size. I is worth checking for any gaps where very small ants could escape from. I found no major issues. My only issue is that the gypsom nest did seem to have a high moisture content. The humidity in the small foraging area was close to 90 % . It was not possible for me to take a reading in the nest area. It did cause a lot of condensation on the glass, which could lead to mould. This could be easy rectified by removing the nest from the container and letting it dry out a little. Overall a good product

**Q: How do I clean this please? Is it possible to get the central block out?**
A: Hello, you cannot take out the central block. The upper space of the ant nest can be cleaned. You can use a small brush and shovel to clean the upper space, but the lower space cannot be cleaned. You can dry it in the sun to sterilize it. The occasional sun exposure of the plaster will keep the inside of the nest from getting too wet, which will also prevent mold from developing.

**Q: How many ants can fit in it?**
A: We have one colony in the nest, that's all. It's plenty big enough. I'm not sure it's working though. The ants don't seem to come up to the top to get food and water, I'm worried they're going to die. Another design flaw is that you can't access the bottom section to clean it out. Some of the seeds (food) that they have taken down has germinated and are growing roots around the tunnels. I wouldn't recommend it but maybe we're not using it properly.

**Q: How do you connect this product to another of the same product or another ant farm?**
A: Hello, if you need to connect this product with other ant nests, it is recommended that you use a transparent soft rubber tube to facilitate your observation of the ants' activities. Just connect the soft tube to the connection expansion port at the lower part of the ant nest.

**Q: Does it come with the sand?**
A: Hello, this ant nest is a plaster ant nest, and there is no sand in it. It comes with the plaster inside.

The nest is well made and a good size. I is worth checking for any gaps where very small ants could escape from. I found no major issues. Well what can I say, I am totally blown away with this habitat. I want to put my harvester colony in here but they jave decided to use another habitat I have, I do have the tubing so I will attach them together. Very heavy for such a small tank and it came with tweezers and a pipette. Great value for money, once my family have moved, I will add another photo.... Update....... Well my little family decided to move lock, stock and barrel to the tower, so now I have a happy little family of harvester ants.
