Nice binding, good paper quality, good art work. Just be aware that this is the original story and refers to a toy gun to pretend to shoot Pooh's balloon down from the sky. This was written in the 1920's so the idea of boys playing with toy guns was not an issue. Just wanted to mention that in case you were sensitive about it. We just say "stick" instead of gun when reading the story to little ones... I have fallen in the love the entire collection of A.A. Milne's works. They were written as a love story to his young son Christopher Robin and his beloved wife who made their toys come to life. I recommend Dutton Books as an original publisher with the original art work by Shepard. The Complete Works of Winnie the Pooh.

Just beautiful, I’ve recently re-read this old favorite as an adult and still just love it, this tale is my favorite chapter in all the Winnie books and I love that I could buy it by itself, a perfect introduction to a child and a beautiful addition to any bookshelf for adults and children alike. Timeless art, sturdy build.
