Fell apart w/in 5 minutes of using—what?!
I have a dogger who is very sensitive to being brushed. She has a soft coat (no undercoat) & I had her laying in my lap to gently brush her….within minutes using the brush felt ‘weird’….I puzzled what was wrong when I realized that the bristle pad was detaching from the handle. I tried, and temporarily succeeded, in getting it back to normal, but alas, it kept detaching. This was NOT a vigorous brushing, so can only conclude that this product is not sturdy enough to actually groom dogs. Very disappointed. The second picture w/ a chopstick shows the gap where the bristle pad became detached. Plan to return it—hopefully they can do some product improvements to remedy this issue—or maybe I just got a lemon!?

Great
Works great on my boy. He is 1/2 Maltese and 1/2 border terrier. He’s a rescue. So brushing him is a working progress. Works great in his hair. Gets all the mats out without pulling. Works so well I use it on my head. Works so well I bought one for me to use as my daily hair brush.

Ok but not for a schnauzer
My wife loves everything John Paul Pet sells but was disappointed with this brush. She thought it would be more like the tangle free brush that doesn’t hurt with snarls but it’s not at all. If you have a dog that has fur you’re probably fine but for a dog like ours (a schnauzer) it’s not the best option. She actually ended up buying the same brush she uses.
