**Q: i tried it in my tv and got nothing. do i need a computer too?**
A: Yes, it needs a computer and some kind of recording software like OBS

**Q: Can this capture card actually record at 1080p60fps? Some cards claim they do when they don't.**
A: In my experience, no. It does not record at 1080p/60fps.

**Q: How can I use this without headphone/mic attached and still hear audio on my pc?**
A: I had to purchase a splitter to get around this. I attached the splitter directly to the capture card. After the splitter was plugged in I plugged my headphones in to one side and the second audio cord to the mic port on my laptop.

**Q: For xbox one, all i want to do is record gameplay (video + sound). does this work for that? i don't care for recording my voice.**

I could not for the life of me get my Elgato to work. There was just something with the sound settings that was not able to be figured out despite hours of frustrations and trying. This is a great alternative to an expensive capture card that actually WORKS. If you watch some videos on how to set up a capture card this should be a piece of cake for you. To be able to stream while having cute overlays, chat boxes, sound alerts etc. from PS5 is amazing. Would recommend. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it really only operates well at 720p with 60 fsp but that's perfecting fine for streaming! It's worth the sacrifice of a little bit of quality for all of the cool stuff you can do. :)
