and i paid 4 times as much for my alpine with out a camera????
got this for my son to upgrade in his honda accord. got an open box that appears to have been never used. works as i hoped . seems high quality . the included camera on the other hand?? MEH. it's low res. nothing special but it's part of the package. sound is quite good , touch screen is responsive and bright. it felt super light so i was concerned it would be crappy sounding but not so. well well worth the little it costs.

Perfect for the price, love android Auto
It works great i installed it on my 2000 Lexus ls400. The screen is responsive. The frame rate does suck especially when you're scrolling through Spotify. But I've never seen a radio that didn't lag, so i won't even blame it for that. Android auto works fantastic.(If it's not working for you, or it keeps saying you need to have the parking brake on, change the wire you're using. I thought my radio was broken. But then i switched to the OEM charging wire that came with my phone instead of the aftermarket one i had, and android auto worked instantly. Do not use cheap wires with android auto. I have a oneplus 9)So yeah pretty great, the screen is very bright. The sound equalizing does the job. And the resolution of the screen does suck, but against it's $300, so i don't expect it to be phenomenal. Overall i got exactly what I paid for and i love it. And the connections is flawless, their is almost no delay at all when i skip a track or pause, which shocked me.

Great budget AA unit
This is a great budget option to add Android Auto or Car Play to an older car. The unit itself is clean and doesn't look out of place even in an older car.The sound quality is great for the price. My GMT800 has a small factory amp and Bose speakers, and this unit really brought them to life. It also has a full equalizer and decent presets. The touch screen is responsive and the UI layout is easy to navigate.Android Auto function has been flawless except that you can't manipulate Maps on your phone after it's connected, you are forced to use the unit's touch screen. Not a big deal, but using Maps is much faster and easier on the phone. The workaround is simply to set up your Maps before plugging in.Backup camera integration was very easy. The camera that came with this is mediocre. The camera quality is very low resolution. It's better than nothing but I will be upgrading to a better camera in the near future. The only downside is that neither of the USB connections, either AA or normal USB charge, are capable of fast charging. I've found that when using AA, the charging can't even keep up with the phone use and you'll slowly lose charge.

Nice car stereo with short camera cable
Has quite a responsive display, comes with a wired microphone, carplay works as it should, and camera quality is not the best but does the job. Easy installation for my 2005 Civic. I'm glad they provide long USB cables for carplay and charging. However, the camera cable was disappointingly short, which created a whole agenda of issues, including power problems. I've tried changing the RCA cables twice and even tried a wireless device, one of which worked. I ended up contacting the manufacturer directly to at least get a replacement for the camera, which they promptly shipped. Now the cable just goes through the car's interior. Tip to manufacturer: include a longer RCA. Overall, great car stereo.

Constant Disconnections, Poor Sound Quality
I bought this to replace a Pioneer unit that burnt out after 8 years and multiple cars. Installation was easy, and the CarPlay worked great at first. Now it constantly disconnects, drops connections and after troubleshooting anything I could think of, this unit is defective. The sound quality is worse than the Pioneer I had before, even after tuning through the EQ and my phone, very muddy bass and muffled treble. Absolute garbage, avoid Boss Audio at all costs.

Great product for a great price
Perfect fit in 2004 mustang with the Mach 460 stereoPlenty of power and I hardly ever turn up the subwoofer because it just sounds great!Finding the backup light wire was a little tricky but the internet was forthcoming with plenty of info about that! Now I have a backup camera that automatically turns on in reverse!

Bluetooth function is spotty.
I have had this for several months now so I feel like I can give a good review.I have not been able to use the Apple CarPlay function yet because the guys who installed that did not hook up my cable to the USB port (its in the back of the body of this system so it’s super hard to reach). Apple CarPlay only works when the phone is plugged in to the system - does not work via Bluetooth - so I can’t review that part! The touch works great and in all other ways it works fine. However, the Bluetooth is really spotty. My phone will randomly be disconnected, sometimes won’t connect unless I turn my car off then back on which reboots the system, and will at times get patchy even when the phone is connected. So that’s really frustrating considering it’s supposed to be a good system with a working Bluetooth function. I’ve been overall unimpressed with this system but that is solely because of the Bluetooth issues. I couldn’t give it a low rating just because of that because all other things I’ve been able to try are fine.We still need to hook up the back up camera and the Apple CarPlay. The microphone for hands free talking is not great. Sound quality for the person on the other end is poor, and if you try to voice text it misunderstands every word which Is hilarious but also annoying 😂It’s not a BAD system by any means, it just disappointed me with the Bluetooth function being so poor. I’m still holding out for the CarPlay! That was the whole reason I got it so I’m ready to use it.

Great bang for the buck
For the price this is a decent stereo. I had to buy an interface for my factory installed JBL amp but this thing sounds and works great. To use CarPlay you have to use a usb cable but I don’t mind. I have bluetooth CarPlay in another vehicle and it screws up constantly and I have to use a cable. Wired it is very stable. Love having Waze up while driving. Also it is installed in a convertible, and with the top down on the interstate I can talk on the phone with no problem. I was very impressed.
