Wood Polish Smell; Oily, Runny Serum; Clunky Roller
I've included product images and ingredients. For user reference, I have mature (over 40), sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin. I'm not the target market audience for Sand & Sky.The cloudy serum smells like wood oil you'd use to buff furniture as a conditioning agent. It comes in an adorable Sand & Sky branded hot pink glass 1oz dropper bottle. The liquid inside is separated and requires the user to shake it up before use. Very runny, and the oily scent of citrus and wood is heavy. Too much for me, as it lingers. The skin doesn’t glow nor is it dewy. I look greasy and slick. The included roller is pretty, with the ombré pink to silver balls on end, but it is cumbersome and bulky. These sorts of clunky rollers don't fit the contours of my jawline or cheeks well (pinchy). Nor can I use them along the more delicate areas around my eyes. This heavy-duty and weighted roller isn't what I would consider suitable for use on the face. It seems like something I would use on sore hands and feet, given the design, weight, and bulk.Overall, a pretty looking, vanity pretty set, but not very practical. Not for sensitive or mature skin for sure.

Light & NonGreasy Oil Adds Moderate Hydration & Dewy Look, Nice Roller For Relaxing Facial Massage
This Sand & Sky Dreamy Skin Set includes the Australian Emu Apple glow drops and Firming Face Roller. It has a contemporary appeal with the bright pink bottle, and an ombré pink and silver face roller. While adults of all ages may enjoy and benefit from this set, it seems targeted to younger adults in their 20’s and 30’s given the fun design and the glow drops aren’t greasy and instead are a lightweight mix that’s oil and water based and feels like a dry oil on my skin.Still, I’m in my 50’s with dry skin, but still enjoy the set. While lightweight, the glow drops still add moderate hydration to my skin and I can even use these drops during the day as my skin absorbs the drops well and doesn’t end up with any heavy oily residue. Instead, the oil dries down and my skin only has enough oil residue to make it look a bit dewy and the oil makes my skin feel supple, soft and comfortable. The drops aren’t all natural, but I like the emphasis on botanicals with anti aging and antioxidant properties, Vitamin C, multiple forms of sodium hyaluronate that plump my skin, good dry skin ingredients that add moisture and more. I have sensitivities, including fragrance, but I find the drops non irritating and the scent light and pleasant. The roller is good quality. It feels solid and has a good weight to it, and it glides smoothly when I use it to apply the drops. The roller conforms to the contours of my face well and feels like a gentle and relaxing light facial massage. Love this set. Made in Italy (glow drops) and China (roller). 5 stars.Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Coco-Caprylate, C13-15 Alkane, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Propanediol, Almond/Borage/Linseed/Olive Acids/Glycerides, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Kunzea Pomifera Fruit Extract, Syzygium Luehmannii Fruit Extract, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit Extract, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil/Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Parfum (Citrus Paradisi Peel Oil/Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil Expressed/Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Peel Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower, Michelia Alba Flower Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Leaf Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil/Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Santalum Spicata Wood Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil/Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil), Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Limonene, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Pentylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, CI 60730/Ext. It's okay
The Sand & Sky Dreamy Skin Kit bundles the Sand & Sky Australian Emu Apple Dreamy Glow Drops with a face roller. On its own, the serum is $54.90, which means this roller costs more than $30. While it is a nice roller, that's way overpriced to me.The roller has a nice weight to it and the cool metal feels nice on my face. I'm not convinced rollers do much firming or shaping, but it does help massage the product in and increase circulation. This is a very nice roller, I just wouldn't pay $30 for it.As for the drops, I found them to be pretty average. This serum uses both water and oil, so has to be shaken before use. It is very thin, making it somewhat hard to spread effectively without something like a roller. The hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate do help my skin look more moisturized, but I found that the moisture didn't last as long as I like. I didn't find the results very impressive for the price. The serum also contains several potentially irritating ingredients such as limonene and linalool.I like Sand & Sky, but I'd skip this kit.

Likeable but not our favorite for gifting: What’s in it?
Sand & Sky is an Australian brand new to my wife and I. She adored the very impressive Purify & Glow set. Most high end beauty gift sets will save you 10-20% over buying each item separately, and with the Purify & Glow set you get a GORGEOUS gift bag, too. What about the Dreamy Skin Kit?Depending on your own skin care needs, of course, we’re not quite as enamored with this one at similar price to the awesomely gift-worthy Purify & Glow. The face roller is attractive and some may feel overly large. Also, if you are like us, you have several already. Thus, the Emu Apple Glow Drops Serum is the deciding factor. It costs about $50 on its own, thus far less than this kit.At the time of this review, the full ingredients lists are not yet listed here and we encourage Sand & Sky to add them here so potential buyers can make their most informed decisions. A visit to the company website reveals their philosophy of avoiding unnatural ingredients. Through a bit of detective work you can find a true ingredients link that does indeed reveal mostly natural oils and extracts with Hyaluronic Acid near the top of the hierarchy. We do love the brand thus far, just not the value of this set compared with others in the line.
