A must for toddlers!
These scissors are great! I purchased these for my o rely ambitious 1.5 year old. Before giving them to him, I of course tried them out. Here’s what I found, overall:Pros- They are SO CUTE! I love the attention to detail from the adorable bunny paw prints along the shanks to the little ears and stubby tail on the bows.- They are lightweight but sturdy. Light enough for a toddler to handle but sturdy enough for a toddler to beat up.- They cut everything they are supposed to, and nothing they aren’t supposed to. I tried these scissors on lots of things: a paper towel, printer paper, construction paper, a Ziplock bag, my finger, and my hair, to name a few. They cut through the printer paper and the construction paper pretty easily, the ziplock bag and the paper towel were a bit harder (which is a good thing! I don’t need my toddler trying to cut up everything he can get his tiny hands on). When I tried on my finger, even as hard as I could, it luckily wouldn’t cut me, let alone hurt, which is great. Most importantly, they don’t cut through hair, so no homemade haircuts for us!- They can be used with both left and right hands. I encourage my son to use both hands and these cut well on either hand!- The price is super low.Cons- While they aren’t hard to cut with, they can be a bit rigid. Although, they haven’t been “broken in” and may loosen up a lot over time.Overall, these scissors are a fantastic buy!

Great scissors to teach cutting
Great scissors to teach toddler how to cut paper. Love this as my little one appears to be left handed and they work great in either a right handed or left handed hold. Love that they only cut paper. Some complain that you have to hold the paper straight to get it to cut. I like this as it teachers proper hold and as someone who has worked with occupational therapists this helps teach proper holding and use of opposite hand to hold paper.

great for preschoolers
These are great for kids but keep in mind they have to be held just right to cut paper. They won't cut yarn or anything else. But the nice thing is the safety, they can't cut their skin or hair so that's worth it!! I really like them, they are worth the money. I had bought some cheap ones at a dollar store and they were junk so it was worth a couple extra dollars for these. They seem like they will hold up nicely over time too. They are pretty sturdy feeling.

Worth the Extra Money
At first I didn’t want to pay more for the safety scissors and was just going to buy an inexpensive round tip pair from a big box store. That is until my husband asked me “how much is an eye worth?” Needless to say I’m glad I spend a few more dollars to have piece of mind. My toddlers have already done all the things you freak out about while learning to use them.Yes, they’re not the easiest to cut with. But that’s a minor drawback for the safety aspect. I just give them heavier weighted paper (cardstock, construction paper, etc) and it reduces the amount the paper slips through the blades.I would definitely get these again!

I’m giving it 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I bought these (came green and white cute for either boy or girl) for my grandchildren age 2 girl and age 1 boy. She didn’t know she was getting scissors and hasn’t asked to use them before but she is definitely ready and when it said 2 I was okay — here we go! She took instruction that these are her first scissors and she has to do a lot of practicing. She is firmly a right handed toddler but she cut with these till her hand was tired which was over an hour asking for more paper to cut. She was an expert out of the gate and they were easy for her to use. When her hand was tired, she switched hands and kept cutting. It was such a joy to watch her learn to put the scissors up and the paper flat. Definitely worth the purchase for the first time out with a 2 year old. Highly recommend!

Safe and Simple, but Not the Greatest Cut
I wanted to introduce my 2-year-old to paper cutting for crafts and sorts, and these scissors seemed like the perfect choice for safety. Super cute for kids! In terms of safety, they certainly deliver – they are undoubtedly "safe" scissors. So safe they don't even cut paper well. You have to hold the paper in a certain unconventional way to get it to cut. It makes the process feel awkward and challenging. While they may serve well as tools for learning, they fall short when it comes to paper cutting.

Best first scissors
I was skeptical about these but they surprised me. They truly cut paper! We had more difficulty cutting construction paper than we did copy paper but that didn't bother me. My only complaint is that these are for right handed children and I'm pretty sure my kiddo is leaning left. He was able to use them with his left hand but I think it would be best for right handed kids.

Não corta nada
Horrível. A intenção era ensinar minha filha a cortar, mas ela fica frustrada pq não corta nada, nem eu consigo cortar com essa tesoura. Não recomendo.

Safe product
This is safe for children, the edge was little sharp and had to use sandpaper to make it blunt
