I am using it on days that I am not using my retinal emulsion from the ordinary (big fan of that as well!) I do think that the retinol version of this toner leaves a bit more of a shine as well as a bit of a hydrating feeling on the surface so if you have oily skin, you might not want to use this in the morning and only at night, but if you have normal to dry skin, I think that this could be used in the morning with no problem. So far this does not seem drying at all! Ive been using this for a few months now and feel like I can give an honest review. At first I was skeptical from reading reviews for this product from Amazon, target and the web, but decided to just take a chance on it since I also use the tonic with great results (Yay!!). I like this product has a low scent (to me).... You may be different. This is a cheaper option than Tula products which I use for cleanser, moisturizer, and peels. 30 female with combo skin - T zone oily and dry on cheeks and chin. To begin use I applied a small amount to a cotton ball and pat on T zone and chin. 2 drops for the first week until my skin had time to adjust. Now I am able to use every night after cleansing my skin.
