My USB-C Hub was hanging behind my 5K apple-ish LG monitor.I have a wired everything, mouse, keyboard, backup hard drive, etc and it was a mess because my hub is the cheap ones that have a very short integrated cable.Extension-- inside an ikea monitor drawer; super clean now.

I have purchased this extension to plug into my Mac Mini which has connection ports only in the back side. Unfortunately it doesn't work, after several attempts I have found out that peripherals such as keyboards didn't work because of this extension.

I bought this product to extend my docker hub so I can have more space on my desk but Unfortunately the bandwidth of it can't handle a screen, and high quality mic usb mic connected to the hub at the same.

Within days of purchase along comes a "request" for a review. Why don't they approach me when I have some experience. So all I can say is I look forward to unwrapping the parcel, but I can see the leads have two shiny ends and a colourful middle bit which with great convenience and design manages to join each end to the other. I can imagine that the left handed end will be easily interchanged with the right handed end with the middle completely reversible. I do not know whether it can cope with the transfer of fake data or twisted memes. However, I can be certain that it can cope with recycled electrons.This message may contain confounded information. This is at last a Usb to UsbC extension lead that does what it claims providing both power and data transmission at good speeds via my powered Asus hub to my laptop which for some reason has a very short power lead. Previous ones I have bought claim the same but only work for power extension and the USB data side is not recognised. (it appears that extending USB leads beyond 300-500mm makes the signal drop off if not properly constructed ). So I can just connect the one extended lead to recharge the laptop and transfer docs or pics to or from other media connected to the hub/network easily without the need to plug extra leads into other ports. Other hubs may not provide dual functionality through the single lead but you would just use just use a separate unextended USB lead in a USB port in that case. Also a very sturdy and qualiy construction.

I used this for a FLIR ONE Pro thermal camera connected to an Amazon fire HD10 (2020) tablet. The problem was the charging socket is at the top on the tablet and the FLIR camera is designed for a phone where it's located at the bottom. The FLIR camera image was always upside down and the App version would not allow correct orientation. Stopping the tablet auto screen rotate didn't work, as was overridden by the App. The FLIR One App is not available in the Amazon store so I had to download the real Google App store to get it loaded. There are instructions on the Web for doing this and you can allow the Silk Browser to install Apps not on the Amazon store so it does all work. I can now orientate the camera independently of the tablet (because it is on the end of the lead) so the image is the right way up. It was a big issue as the FLIR image has the temperature text overlaid so simply picture inversion doesn't work as the decimal degrees text and image were always inverse to each other. The lead feels very substantial and not cheap and flimsy. Now very happy with both the FLIR camera and this lead.

Like many people, I am in the transition period between USB A and USB C sockets on my devices and most have both types of socket. I bought two of these cables: a black one to provide easier access to the single USB C (USB 3.2 Gen 2) port on the back of my PC so that I can benefit from the higher data transfer speeds on offer and a red one that I use to extend the USB C power supply to my Raspberry Pi 400. The cable appears to be well made and of good quality - I particularly like the use of a braided cable and appreciate the inclusion of a velcro cable tidy in the pack).

I bought this product to extend an already purchased USBC cable from Fasgear. It is the exact same cable spec as this extender from the same manufacturer and neither my Monitor no my Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 work with this extender is connected. It says on Amazon you can get support questions answered within 24 hours. I posted one. And have not had it answered. Poor service, poor product - I do not recommend.
