Excellent read from start to finish can't wait for book 2

Good read. The notion that new tech is not better tech is a consistent theme in our society where most new tech is tossed away if it goes defective before your needs for the capabilities has been transcended. The unusual aspect of this story is that the new tech battle cruisers are obsolete the day they go into battle and only 70 year old battle cruisers can withstand the enemy's onslaught.

Fit for a 12 year old, forget it if you are older. Having trouble finishing it it is so cringey.
