I absolutely loathe bootcut and other cuts that flare out and become baggy around the ankle, so I started wearing Straight fit. This was an improvement, but still left me with too much down on my ankles. So I tried athletic fit: this was much better in the calf and the ankle, but the extra room in the seat was too much, and basically traded bagginess in the ankles for bagginess in the backside. Finally I found these! The slight taper solves my flare-out/bagginess problem around the calf and ankle, and the "regular" fit is a much better fit in the seat. I highly recommend if these concerns match your own.
