Would Recommend
We invested in a way overpriced in floor cleaning system in our new pool which has been a huge disappointment. This Dolphin unit has saved the day and had I known about it before I would have passed on the cleaning system and saved thousands. ***Update. Had it 3 months and worked wonderfully then started having connection issues, would stop running and one track kept popping off. Still under warranty however getting it serviced was another matter. Maytronics sent us a shipping label to send the entire unit back to them to be evaluated. Not a simple task to find a box to fit the unit since we didnโt keep ours. After over a month of little to no response on an alternative we finally have shipped it back. I will update once we get a resolution on the unit. In the meantime I have no floor cleaner.

Didnโt last three months
I followed the directions for use, only ran it maybe 10 times (ran 28 hrs total when the cleaning cycles I used are 2.5 or 3.5 hrs), suddenly the โrobot is not responding.โ The troubleshooting info is woefully minimal and of course not helpful. And as and added bonus, I get to pay $100 to ship it to them to get it fixed. It cleaned pretty well for the short time it worked but I am unable to recommend.

No tangling of wire andโฆ
If the wire tangles, it canโt clean the pool. And this wire DOES NOT TANGLE. If wire tangles, the cleaner stays in one spot, and you have to baby sit - its not cleaning your pool. Free Caddy Cover: UPDATE: โ5 STARSโ RECEIVED THE CADDY COVER FROM MAYTRONICS 4 stars because Amazon has a detail that a free caddy cover would be sent if caddy is purchased. And this statement was the last push towards the purchase of this model. No caddy cover arrived. This must be an Amazon - Superstore disconnect. Backyardsupertore Customer Service via Email and Amazon site: Currently, in contact with Backyardsuperstore. They have advised they will send - will update if thatโs the case. Pool cleaning performance: Also, used the cleaner first day and the pool was crystal clear. See second day video. Placed fine filter in cleaner and itโs suction of fine particles did the job. App: Had an issue with the app as (we found out later - with Customer Service assistance) the manual Instructions were one step ahead of the app in that the manual (skipped a step) and indicated the cleaner would pop up on app for the user to connect cleaner to app but it did not. Maytronics (pool cleaner) Customer Service: Instead, I waited (for the picture of cleaner to pop up on app - it did not) then called customer service (Maytronics) took a very long while after saying โwaiting time is over 2 minutes.โ The wait was far past 2 minutes. Make sure to have time in case the wait time is over โ2 minutes.โ Have about 30+ minutes. Either way, finally, the rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. Figured out we had to press the โOk, Nextโ (which had dark lettering on app - was expecting for this lettering to brighten up once picture of cleaner popped on app screen to select it. Manual instruction did not have this instruction. Instead, it said select cleaner when on screen. This step (cleaner on screen) occurs after you press โOk, Nextโ when progressing from connecting power supply and cleaner, and placing cleaner in pool. So far recommend this cleaner - havenโt had to manually vacuum pool but this is day 2 of ownership. AS INFO. On first day, after a 3.5 hour Ultra clean cycle, the (salt pool) PPMs went from 3100 to 3300 ppm with no salt being added.

Awesome and super useful
The Dolphin is incredibly helpful for pool owners. It does an excellent job with bottom debris and algae clean-up.

Buyer Beware
1/20/26 Updating my review after owning this machine for several years. Bottom line don't buy a machine from Maytronics/Dolphin. This machine constantly stops working, and has to be sent back for repair. I have to send this machine back a couple times per year to be fixed. My experience with customer service remains horrible. In all of my conversations with them, I have only had one or two people that were nice and actually tried to help, the rest have been rude, condescending and not helpful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MACHINE OR WITH MAYTRONICS/DOLPHIN. For the cost of shipping this machine back to be repaired, I could have bought a better, less expensive machine from another company. I purchased the dolphin 5 months ago for about $1600 thinking it is top of line and should there be any issues with the product customer service would be exceptional given the cost of this robot. For the price I paid I would not expect to have any issues with the product for a long time, however 5 months in I am getting a power supply error on the app. This is the second issue I have had, however the first issue was resolved after deleting and re down loading the app. To me the current issue with the power supply error is a huge concern given this product is powered by electricity and used in the pool. Customer service has been very slow in responding and as of late has not responded at all to my request for a replacement unit given the price of the product and only using it for 5 months. The company has agreed to let me return it for repair, but given the price and time of ownership and issues with power supply I would expect replacement. If they replace the product with a new unit I would be happy but so far am very disappointed in the product and customer service. My recommendation as of now....keep looking for a better product from a different company that cares about the customer.

easy to use, plug and play
The instructions are a little vague but it really is quite simple. The Ap / wifi connection makes it easy to program. We have a fairly large pool near trees so there is always something to clean so i have it run regularly. Much better than the polaris unit that I had that died.

Quit working less than a year, terrible service
I bought this unit early November 2022. When this was working, it cleaned the pool superbly. However starting around June the robot starting throwing errors 'The robot seems to be out of the pool.' This past week it stopped working completely. It started up but then quit with the message always 'The robot seems to be out of the pool.' For warranty service Maytronics wants me to box up the entire unit and send in to them - that's pretty absurd for such a high end product. Shipping is on the customers dime and a heavy unit like this is going to cost a couple hundred to ship. Pinch A Penny is an authorized dealer so I ended up dropping off there. They said it passed all of their tests but then found that the motor is bad. It's great they found the problem, the other issue is I now need to wait at least a month for the part (others have already been waiting 2 mos). We'll see where we go from here but so far my warranty experience after dropping $1700 on a top of line unit has been pretty bad. Issues with products at this price point should be resolved quickly with as little interruption to the customer as possible. Maytronics has failed at this part - just check out the other 2 star reviews.

Nautilus cc Supreme
Easy to assemble and connect to wi-fi. Cleaned pool well. Doesn't get entire waterline every cycle but has made cleaning my pool simpler. Still requires some manual cleaning of pool but I have 5 trees that dump leaves in pool when wind blows and I now spend a tenth of the time cleaning them out. Only had vac for a week but so far so good.
