This is the first time that I have bought and used Anise seed to make tea.I used to like drinking liquorice tea but sadly that really affects my blood pressure and so I had to stop drinking it, I now use a DGL form of liquorice in tablet form.I have found that using a tea ball type of strainer in a cup with between 7 to 1 grams of this seed is perfect in water of around 90 to 95c.See photoThankfully the particle size isn't too small in the strainer to escape into the cup. Looking at the contents in the bag it does seem to be all seed and no other waste or debris etc within it.The taste is very palatable and typical of aniseed. I do need to put the amount noted into each cup, starting with only one teaspoon isn't enough for me in terms of flavour, that you will need to decide upon yourself.The packaging of this seed is great, with a very secure and resealable bag to keep it safe and dry. We use a separate sealed container to place so much in and then the bag for refills.Overall I would recommend this anise seed and I do hope that this review has helped you. J'ai acheté ces graines d'animaux vert pour des tisanes. Emballage opaque pour plus de fraîcheur. Très bon goût (pas amer). Je recommande
