How long before it should be replaced?

Once every three months….it cleans well but I’ve noticed it gets dull on the regular side which is the side I use. I really like this product, it lacks well, cleans well, and is durable. It’s a bit rocky for a plastic item so the seller is making a lot but it works

Why in the world are they so expensive.there just plastic.my dentist gave me one for free.I like it but why do they cost more than the metal ones
