While it’s a larger quantity than the other one I bought, it didn't add any sweetness to my coffee like the first brand I used. More is not always better. I added different amounts to the coffee and you just wouldn't know a sweetener was added. Ugh! And it’s not returnable. I subtracted 2 stars for lack of sweetness and the cost for the bottle bottle that arrived.

Yacon syrup has an earthy, smoky slightly sweet taste with a hint of mint. No bitter aftertaste like Stevia or artificial sweeteners. It blends well with hot beverages and works well on waffles, pancakes. It takes some effort to stir into cold beverages. It is very different from other sweeteners like blue agave, honey, maple syrup. It is definitely an acquired taste. The health benefits for your body, liver, blood pressure, blood sugar levels is fantastic with the low glycemic level, no cholesterol, 15 calories, as this sweetener does not absorb in your body at all. Very keto friendly. If you're looking for super sweetness, this isn't for you. If you're trying to balance healing your body functions like listed above, this could be for you. No gut side effects or headaches. Much better than taking mystery prescriptions with side effects worse than the ailment you take them for. The 12 ounce bottle with the no drip opening ensures you can measure the syrup accurately. I think this works better with teas than coffees. I drink a dark dandelion root with chicory tea, which is caffeine free, which looks like coffee with a nutty coffee like flavor (from Sprouts) and this sweetener fits in fine with that. I also add cream. The Yacon powder version is fairly bland but works well with dessert baking with other ingredients. I am pleased with my health goal results using this product.

This product is not keto friendly. I looked closer and compared it to another brand of yacon syrup and this one has way too many carbs. They would not refund me.
