Sierra Auto Tops Convertible Top Replacement for Mazda Miata MX5 1990-2005, Cabrio Vinyl, Black

The seller responded promtly like 2 hours when I reached out months after buying this top. I am having the guys at the garage put it on and they need to stretch it a bit to make it clamp down so I asked for the instructions on installing it and got them and printed them out. I hope the guys at the garage can figure it out ha ha . They even complimented on what a nice quality the roof is. Hes a mid aged man with years of experience so his opinion says something. I will order from again.

The only problem I have with this top is that the back window became dis-bonded after 3 years and happened suddenly. They state that the window bond is has a lifetime warranty. I sure hope that they honor this. The rest of the top has held up wonderfully and still looks brand new. But still, I'll have to go through the task of removal and installation of the new one IF they send me one. There's no way to repair this.Update: I got no help with this issue from either the supplier or Amazon. My complaint only reached a dead end with my complaint. So I did some research on this and found out who the actual manufacture was which was GAHH Automotive. I called them and the receptionist transferred me to the warranty department. I talked to Henry and asked me to email him the invoice# and pictures of the top. After I did so, he submitted them for approval. My issue was approved and Henry put in an order to have a new top fabricated. I received it about a week later with no charge at all. Sometimes when you want things done, you just have to do it yourself. Boo to Auto Tops Direct and Amazon on this issue. Kudos to GAHH Automotive.

Nice looking - good quality - great value

Don’t buy it is so difficult to install you will need another rain rail but once you finally get it installed it will brake and you will be out $500 after purchasing a rain rail as well. Good luck if you already ordered.

People claim that this comes with a rain rail. It DOES NOT. My husband and I have spent at minimum 17 hours working on this top and it’s still not even done. Riveting the rain rail on there is the biggest pain and the top ripped as soon as we got it onto the car. Very upset about it, but stuck as we can’t take the top off to return it because it’s my daily commuter car.Update: finally got it on, but the entire bottom panel was apparently stitched on there crooked, causing a giant wrinkle in the top. It looks absolutely horrible. So, so disappointed.

Nothing, no written documentation. No clue what the random straps are for. Looks nothing like the oem top.I can probably figure it out but seriously should have spent the money on something better.Update* honestly after figuring it out, the top fits well, works well and is actually great.

Yikes, the rear glass was glued on unevenly. I'm not picky and quite happy with it. But I'll probably never buy this again. Even the mounting points for the frame were highly questionable. Just some velcro!I installed two in a row, so install time was 2.5 hrs.Cut the old one, and when installing the rain guard, install nuts with large washers on the outsides of the target location to help with installation.Have fishing line and a long rod ( i used the long stick type antenna) to thread the cable through the top.Highly recommend a ratchet screwdriver very low profile to reach the Phillips head on the frame.

Great quality easy install just take your time and watch a couple of tutorials. If you order the rain guard from the same guys they will install it for you in the top and that helps a lot with the installation i was short on rives but luckily the rivet gun i order came with some extra ones.
