I ordered an XL, as that's the size I've always gotten for scrub jackets, so that I can zip/snap/button the jacket with my boobs that are too big. I haven't had a labcoat since nursing school (1993!), so maybe these always run a little larger than scrub jackets? This one was really large, and I'm not sure if that is why it was so long. Maybe if I would have exchanged it for a L, the length might have been more as expected. Since this was the second one of these coats that I waited on (the first one was shipped in just the clear plastic wrapping and was damaged in transit), I couldn't wait for a 3rd one to arrive, and potentially still have a jacket that was too long. For reference, I'm 5'7" and it was about 2 inches above my knee. Also, the second coat was shipped more appropriately inside the clear packaging and then inside one of the thick, recyclable cardboard bags, so it was not damaged in shipping.
