Works Flawlessly 🙌🏻
Finally a wireless controller for my N64 that is comfortable and has good buttons and a nice analog stick 👌🏻 I have to admit though, mine came with a slightly depressed left bumper (not quite as strong of a spring back feel) as the right bumper. This is likely just a manufacturing error and doesn’t affect my experience with it at all but figured it was worth noting for the very serious enthusiasts. Input lag feels almost nonexistent to me 🙌🏻 and the shape of the controller fits my hands perfectly. All in all very happy with my purchase

All around very solid
I really like this thing. This thing connects like RIGHT NOW when you hit the start button. No blinking and waiting. The controller itself: Buttons are very nice and springy, feel very responsive and accurate. The analog stick is very similar to a brand new Wii nunchuck. I'm using it on a 3DS emulator to play Majora's Mask and it does feel a tad "fast" sometimes, like the N64 has a tad more nuance, or a bigger dead zone, but I'm thinking that could be adjusted anyway. The triggers and bumpers feel very similar to the original N64. Comfortable to hold, has a nice finish (It's like a very fine powder coat or something. Not 100% smooth to the point your hand sticks to it like a well-worn SNES controller, but not rough by any means). Haven't tried it on the actual 64 since mine's broken, but I imagine it works just as well on there.

Dongle broke when removed from system
Unfortunately I had to change my review for this product The dongle broke off inside the n64 after just the first time I removed it. For some reason it’s entirely too tight in there so breaks off easily. The wires are intact so it still works but I have to grab it from part that broke off to remove it. I’m not returning it because I desperately wanted a wireless n64 controller and the controller itself works great but this is an issue so I still removed 2 stars from my review and took away all the positive things I said about it. Also strangely enough there is one game I noticed that doesn’t recognize the controller pak in the dongle and that is fighting force 64 it thinks a rumble pak is inserted every time and that’s after trying my other controller pak as well. None of my other games do this with the controller pak so that is very strange. Like I said earlier I plan on keeping this anyway because everything else about it is great but it’s super annoying that it broke off like that Update I used super glue on the part the broke and it seems to be holding up luckily none of the wires broke the times I removed it. But of course you shouldn't have to use super glue for a brand new product. This is a great controller other than that. Its a shame they can't get the dongle right some other reviewer had the same exact problem. Only other issue is that game I mentioned that thought the dongle had a rumble pak in it. I wouldn't be completely surprised if more games do this but in my testing that's the only one that did. I'm also going to get the retro bit n64 wireless controller to see if its any better it seems to have good reviews when used for n64 but not switch that one is supposed to be used for both but I just want it for n64. I still am going to keep this controller because its fine with super glue on it but this whole thing just doesn't make since though. I will update this review if I think the other is better or not. I could use 2 wireless controllers anyway for better or worse. Its so strange how its such a great quality yet they mess up with the dongle. Its not like those cheapo madcatz controllers back in the GameCube ps2 era or even worse its not like anything produced by power a from these days but that dongle thing is still a huge problem. At least I fixed it for now anyways Update The super glue is still holding up. Also I got the other controller the wireless n64 controller from retro bit. I like the retro bit one better the dongle didn't break off inside. That game I mentioned still does the same thing on retro bit with memory cards though I kinda figured it would. I also like the thumb stick better on retro bit it has the rubber grip with grippers on it. I do think this brawler controller is more comfortable to hold overall though. Also retro bit one rumbles and its a tad cheaper though not much. They are both great high quality controllers and I'm glad I have both, even though I got upset about the dongle though glue is still holding up. I went ahead and added back one more star. Apparently not most reviewers had it break off inside, much more people would have mentioned it if it did for them. So all in all its a great controller that game that does recognize the controller pack is not a game a ton of people have anyway so that won't be a problem for most.

Love it
I’ll let the points below speak for themselves Pros: + Good material, pleasant ergonomics. Professional presentation in packaging. + Charges with USB C, comes with the charger + Wireless connection is strong + Battery must be good, been playing my N64 a lot and haven’t needed to charge yet + You literally plug the adapter in and it works Neutral: ~ Disconnects after maybe 5 minutes of being unused. Not a big deal because it reconnects in like 2 seconds and I’m sure it saves battery life. ~ Durability is good, it would probably survive a kid throwing it but not an upset adult full force. This is neutral because if you’re an adult who’s that mad at Star Fox, go to therapy Cons: - The pak thingy doesn’t work with the Transfer Pak for Pokemon Stadium 1 or 2. I can just plug in other controller to use it, though.

Wireless but not Bluetooth.
The specifications of the controllers were not clear enough. This listing came up when I was searching for Bluetooth controllers on the internet. I do not have spare ports for USB dongles or controller ports. This was a waste of a purchase, but probably decent quality and could be used eventually, in months or years. It is just not useful to me for what I bought it for, and I will have to purchase something else.

NOT compatible with PC
I bought this to use on PC for a Nintendo 64 emulator. The description for this could have been more clear that it is not compatible with PC. My N64 console is long gone, so I have no way of actually using this controller. This is a little pricey for a controller that only works for the original console. I also have the Retro Fighter GameCube controller, which works great on PC, which is why I felt comfortable buying another one of their products.

Best N64 controller ever
I couldn’t stand the jankiness of the old school N64 controller but still wanted to replay some old favorites. I bought this controller and it works just as well as any modern controller. It’s very lightweight and takes some abuse without breaking, it’s been stepped on quite a few times already. It holds a charge for a couple of days even after playing for hours on end. All in all this is an essential purchase for those looking to play the n64 without the hassle of that awful old controller design.

DON’T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!
Ordered this controller thinking it could connect to my laptop🤦🏾♂️. I love the look and feel and wish I had known about the USB version before it got discontinued. Great work RF! If for whatever reason you bring back the USB version that would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏾

Great controller, one small issue.
Great controller! Only one problem, the reason for a 4 star rating, the dongle connector comes out of the receiver when removing it. I solved this with two drops of super glue.

Simply brilliant 3rd party controllers.
Brilliant 3rd party controllers. Have the feel of the 'N64' trident and all the buttons too; but bluetooth / wireless and can be used with any system, console or PC (even a raspberry Pi!!)
