The heavy package (over 100 pounds) was delivered by two Amazon delivery drivers who placed it on the ground gently by my door. I had seen the delivery from a camera by my door. First, I did an inventory of all the parts, and it was perfect. I then followed the directions as directed and it went together perfectly. The colors were just like the picture. It is very study and looks great! The directions suggested two people, but I was able to assemble it by myself without a problem. It could require two people depending on your strength. It took me three hours to assemble because I took my time and followed the directions. I'm very satisfied with this TV stand! Took me about 6 hours total to put together because I had to look through the instructions thoroughly, as there are no written instructions and I was doing by myself. I did need help when putting the top on. Also, it doesn't tell you that you don't need instructions #19 if not using the fireplace insert. I do like the sturdiness of the product.
