I tried several hair styling stuff (L'Oreal Sculpte 3, L'Oreal Clay 5, L'Oreal Poker Paste 7, L'Oreal Architexture Matte Defining Paste, L'Oreal Tecni Art Web 5 Sculpting Paste, Chi Molding Clay, Tigi BedHead Working Wax, Woody's Mold It, Sebastian The Scupltor Clay, Sebastian Craft Clay, Schwarzkopf 3D Men Texture Clay, Schwarzkopf Osis+ 4 Flexwax, Layrite Hair Clay, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Styling Gel...).I have medium/short hair. Woody's Mold It is a sculpting paste, that can be perfectly used on dry as well as damp hair. It has medium/strong hold, with no shine (possibly a little shine if hair are damp, but any product will do that). Easy to work out in the hand, easy to wash off in the hair, but will need soap to wash it off from the skin.It is the 2nd best hair product I have found for use on damp hair, tie with L'Oreal Clay 5. (The first being L'Oreal Architexture in the grey can, but it's discontinued - haven't tried the new can, but it's overpriced anyways). Tigi Working Wax is not bad either, but it has medium hold, at best.On dry hair, the no-discussion winner is Sebastian The Sculptor, which is in between a real clay (Sebastian Craft Clay) and a paste (Woody's Mold It) in terms of texture, and has strong hold without being greasy like the craft clay, and matte finish. Furthermore, Sebastian gave attention to detail, since they added an heavenly bergamot/pink pepper scent, masculine but delicate.

The paste is great. I use it on a daily basis for work. I have A LOT of thick hair and most pastes don't do much or wear off throughout the day but this product keeps my hair shaped up all day. It takes a little practice to spread without it clumping, but once you get the hang of it, it works as described. This should last me a while but I will plan to purchase again!

My son's barber uses this paste, so I got some and I know it is advertised as men's styling paste, but I use it all of the time! It works so well keeping the fly aways down and smoothing down my hair, its definitely top on my list as a go to product for me and my son!

Great stuff

I've gone through many types of hair product and I finally found this one. It's a perfect balance of matte finish, hold and texture. I don't like gel because it makes your hair hard, creams don't have enough hold. I can run my figures through my hair and it gives you the messy or bed head hair!

I have been using Woody's web for a couple years and decided to try something different. I'm extremely happy with the strength of the styling paste. It holds all day but is still flexible, with little to no shine and subtle light scent to it.

I was expecting a bit more hold and did not get what I was looking for. I am a fan of woodys clay minus the blue but I will continue to purchase that.

Great product!

I have been using this product for a few years it's normally very good but I recently had a couple of pots delivered and found the material is almost impossible to break down and apply in hair, usually it's really easy to apply on wet and dry hair, what's happened? It's like some congealed concrete. Both pots thrown in the bin cannot be used.I noticed the price has come down to 2.99 is this because the store is getting rid of poor quality stock? Not impressed having two pots in exactly the same condition. Please sort it out Woodys you usually have a good product.
