DISGUSTING
I actually threw them away. Couldn’t even eat. A 90% Lindt is better and way cheaper

This chocolate is beyond good. It is PERFECT!
The chocolate is very well balanced, just sweet enough for my taste. I can binge on it and not feel guilty. The mini bars are also very good portions for a snack with my coffee. I have tried all of their flavors and have to say the signature dark and the salted almonds are my favorites.

Bitter & Pricey
For the record I love dark chocolate, but I'm not a fan of this one. I can tolerate it, but if I'm going to have a treat, I want it to taste better. There is just enough sweetener to counteract the harsh bitterness of unsweetened chocolate, but not enough to take it away completely. These bars still have a slight bitterness to them. I understand they're "Keto" blah, blah, blah, but I still want it to taste good. If this is suppose to be a treat, at least make it taste like a treat. These bars are only 84 calories, but if they had sweetened them just a smidge more (say a 100 calorie bar) then that would've probably made a world of difference. It's not surprising that my kids didn't care for it, but usually my son likes dark chocolate. He did not like it either. My husband thought it was meant for baking, but I told him they were candy bars. He was not convinced, haha. These are pricey too. There are 5; 8oz bars. They end up costing about $3/each.

Good flavor, iffy digestibility
I have a philosophy about foods that are delicious, but high in fat and sugar and other things you might want to avoid in large quantities: If you’re going to eat chocolate, eat *chocolate*. Don’t mess around with artificial sweeteners, fake fats, and similar ingredients. Eat real chocolate- just eat less of it. The analogues and substitutes never deliver the flavors that attract you to these foods, and leave you unsatisfied. And that brings us to The Good Chocolate. It’s actually much better than I expected. It tastes a lot like a semi-sweet chocolate, albeit with a slight aftertaste. There’s a bit of cocoa butter, enough to carry some chocolate flavor though not enough to deliver a real chocolate mouth feel. The sweet taste is delivered by erythritol ((2R,3S)-Butane-1,2,3,4-tetrol), a sugar alcohol I hadn’t heard of before. It’s a real, naturally occurring, compound that’s produced industrially via the fermentation of corn. It tastes sweet, and it has several benefits. It’s not metabolized in saliva, so it can’t contribute to tooth decay, and it is largely excreted intact, so it can be considered a zero calorie ingredient. It even has some antibiotic properties, like xylitol, another low-cal sugar alcohol. Then I read this: “ In small doses, erythritol does not normally cause laxative effects and gas or bloating, as are often experienced after consumption of other sugar alcohols (such as maltitol, sorbitol, xylitol, and lactitol).” That’s a plus, I suppose. Reading on, I learned that dosages of 0.71-0.78gr/Kg body weight are generally “unlikely to have a laxative effect.” What does that mean in practical terms? Well, say you’re a 120lb (54.43Kg) female. You can probably safely ingest 0.71*54.3 = 38.5gr of erythritol without laxative effect. These bars have 6gr each of erythritol, so as long as you consumed no more than 5-6 bars, you probably won’t experience any undesirable effects. Certainly one bar should not cause problems. Of course, if you’re going to limit yourself to just one 22 gram, 84 calorie bar of this chocolate substitute, you should have no problem limiting yourself to one 22 gram, 120 calorie bar of real dark chocolate, and you’d probably enjoy it a whole lot more. I know I would.Update: The day after eating two packets, for a total of 12gr of erythritol, I experienced some unpleasant laxative effects. Good scientist that I am, I ate another two to make sure that wasn’t due to something else... and experienced the same effects again. I’ll be avoiding anything with eriythritol in the future. Your milage may vary, as they say.

Best sugar free chocolate
It has a wonderful taste, not bitter at all. Just tastes like dark chocolate slightly sweetened.

A bit pricey even for Keto chocolate
The Good Chocolate | Keto Salted Almonds Mini Chocolate Bars, 5-pack Zero Sugar, 1 Net Carb 0.8oz (22g) portion-controlled, delicious and healthyAs a chocolate snob who only typically only uses Callebaut or Valrhona chocolate for baking, typically pays $5-$6 for a 3oz bar of chocolate, and as someone who doesn't typically like the aftertaste of Stevia, I think this chocolate tastes pretty good. This has the same mouthfeel as other dark chocolates in the range of 65% cocoa and isn't overly sweet similar to other brands of really good dark chocolate. The salted almonds in this bar is in small pieces remind me of Sharfenberger's salted almond bars but different like it is instead The Good Bar is its dark chocolate keto cousin. The stevia doesn't leave that strong aftertaste you get from some other stevia sweetened foods.Overall this is a pretty good chocolate and an excellent choice for anyone who is missing a really good chocolate since going keto. My only hesitation in recommending this chocolate is that most higher end brands of chocolate are in the $1.50-$2.00 per ounce range. Even in the realm of keto chocolates that price seems to be on the higher end of the more expensive chocolates. This chocolate being $3.75 per ounce just seems to be overpriced.
