I bought this to hold my iPad Pro for jams and rehearsal. Sturdy. If you extend it fully it gets slightly shaky with the 12” Pro, but as it extends quite a lot at full, I really never need it to be that tall. You can adjust the width of the legs to increase stability. It’s easy to install the iPad, and it’s secure. The device holder has an adjustable tilt. The gooseneck comes in handy too - I just used it yesterday to record a table-top demo, which I’ve been wanting for teaching, so - twofer. With the heavy Pro, it will tip with the gooseneck bent for table top demos, but as it had to butt up against the table I was using, this solved the problem on its own. It breaks down and sets up beautifully - easy, quick. It comes with a cheap drawstring bag that nonetheless works just fine. It breaks down short enough to carry in a canvas tote bag with my other jam accessories. Great purchase for my needs. If this is something you are going to use a lot, give the cheaper model by the same company a miss, especially if you are using this for an iPad Pro - it doesn’t fit it, and otherwise the break down/set up isn’t as easy or compact. I was trying to go cheaper, but I had to return it and pony up the extra 20-25 for this one. Glad I did.

For me this is the perfect ipad holder. Fully adjustable to whatever height you need, it's light weight but plenty sturdy.

Bought to use with my iPad Pro. I can use with the iPad case on which is a big plus for me! I want that extra layer of protection. I am a traveling musician and needed to move away from the bulky traditional music stand to travel lighter. Does make me somewhat nervous when putting the iPad into the holder. I have to use my body to hold the iPad into place while I pull the spring loaded arm out. Once the iPad is in place I feel the holder is strong enough to not let the iPad fall out. I can’t have my Apple Pencil still attached to the iPad when placing it in the holder. Taking the iPad out of the holder is no problem at all. I like how I can adjust the height of the stand by unlocking 3 different tubes. I can set it for sitting and then just adjust one of the other two tubes for standing, thus not having to reset my sitting position height! The goose neck top allows for moving the iPad closer or farther and to adjust the angle without having to move the whole stand around. The product seems very sturdy. I open the legs almost completely when standing so it will not easily topple over on windy outside gigs or with the weight of the iPad Pro. When the legs are open that much it does take up a lot of room on the ground. It collapses into its own carry bag which fits nicely into my backpack. Several others commented that the plastic nut holders broke. So far I have not had that happen. Overall I am pleased with the item and the price wasn’t too bad.

I was nervous buying this stand after seeing all the bad reviews. It came in 2 pieces & was super easy to assemble. It can really go up to like 6 ft tall! My nephew wants to borrow it when he saw how high it goes. The "neck" of it is hard to move, but I only needed it moved a little & I don't want it to move easy. I can turn the holder from portrait to landscape easily. It does have some play in it no matter how much I tighten it. I need to find the review that said they put something in it to hold it level. As for this being able to hold 10.1 " fire hd plus tablet, it holds it easily. Pulling the arms wide enough takes a little muscle, but that just tells me it has a strong hold. I also use it for my Galaxy S9. Holds it great. Have had a couple comments about being hard to hear me. Just need to get phone in right so sounds going in & out can be heard. I even leave my tablet in stand overnight sometimes & don't worry it will fall. I do dislike how easily the legs spread out & it lowers the stand. I wish the legs stayed in place better.

Much sturdier than I thought it was going to be. No cheap parts, it works great!

Excellent product, love the versatility of it.

I use the tripod multiple items a week for remote workout sessions, and this tripod is an upgrade from my last one, as it is easy to adjust, stable, and easy to pack up and travel with it.

Very well made Durable high quality Surprised due to oftentimes cheaply made 🙂

This is a fantastic stand, very impressed. This thing can be right at your face level if you want or down low if you want to sit on the floor and anywhere in between. The gooseneck is solid, resists moving and the tablet stays put. It's very compact, folds down to about 18" long and fits in the supplied bag. Easy to use, just extend the jaws to fit your phone or your tablet, no adapters. I have a couple of other iPad stands that need to clip onto a mic stand and they cost about the same. This is the most versatile stand that I've come across, solidly built and well engineered. I can't attest to longevity as I haven't had it long but it feels like great quality. I'm expecting this stand to last a long time, great bang for the buck and I highly recommend it

So impressed by this iPad tripod stand! Excellent quality, strong and stable, with easy-to-use adjustments and positioning options. I am a professional content creator and have spent thousands on equipment. I can't believe the quality of this tripod for the price. Honestly, you can't go wrong. Thank you!

2 major disappointments. 1st, the gooseneck doesn't have the stiffness to hold up a tab (see video). 2nd, is that the ball joint isn't as advertised. It's the regular cheap ball joint that you get with much cheaper models (see image). Returned the product.
