Great for my dog’s sensitive skin
I’ve always trusted Burt’s Bees and this shampoo reinforces that. My puppers has very sensitive, itchy skin and this shampoo makes all the difference for him. We use it when he starts scratching a lot and he’s much more comfortable after a bath with this. We also use it on him after a swim in the ocean to get rid of the residual salt that his fur soaks up like a sponge. The scent is very pleasant and not at all strong. He’s tried to lick other shampoos off after a bath but not this one. Definitely recommend.

Smells great, but doesn’t leave a sting odor on dog
We love our Burt’s! It smells great going on, has never irritated my dog’s skin and rinses easily.

Not bad, but not the best I’ve used…
It smells great, but doesn’t lather all that well. It seems thin, like watery…overall I wouldn’t buy it again.

disappointed. Was hoping for a happy ending, however this product was extremely watered down. I used half the bottle to wash my freshly groomed short haired Maltese. absolutely no lather.Also, the scent was faint.too much money for the quality.

Pros and cons (overall: probably won’t buy again)
I was disappointed with this product. It didn’t really seem to lather and needed a large amount per bath. I do have a 50 lb golden retriever, so I expect to use a decent amount of shampoo/conditioner each time. However, in comparison with other products I have used, this one didn’t last nearly as long.On the flip side, it did leave my dog’s coat feeling clean and soft and had a pleasant (but not too overwhelming) scent.

Soft fur
The fragrance is very natural and barely there; however, my dogs fur was really soft and clean after using it. I wasn’t a fan of the price, but I would probably buy it again if I could not find something more affordable.

Smells so good and gives shiny coat
First time purchasing this brand. The suds were abundant with such a small amount used. The scent is pleasurable. The dog’s coat definitely has shine. Even with trips outside, the scent of the shampoo still smells great.
